Glad that you like all the designs, even if you're not too fond of some of the characters.   I hope you read the comic that I'm planning to make with theses models; I'm going to try to make Scalpel a more rounded character instead of just a crazy Nazi.

The character that's almost done now is an Autobot Bulldozer (haven't decided on his name yet). He's the muscle of the group.

After him, I'm not sure. I'll probably start working on a Minicon, and after that I might do Lockdown or Cannonball.

I really like that Airac...oops blackarachnia lol. original design and just the style I love ^ ^ sleek and refreshing..to be honest I don't like the bw or the bm design...I have no thoughts about animated version of her but this one is perfect and I like your other designs to ^ ^

Okay, here's the next one. I lied when I said we was a bulldozer; he's actually a "front end loader"; I've always had a hard time telling them apart. The main difference being that he was wheels instead of treads.

He still needs a few tweaks, but he's almost done.

He looks fairly cool. Repaint him green, and you got your Bulkhead. Maybe a little redesign of the mouth.
I just notced this, but no altmodes.
Not good at modelling cars?

 

I didn't notice it before, but you're right. His head is even pretty similar to Ironfist's. The character doesn't really fit the characterization I had in mind for him, but I really like the idea. I'll have to think about it.

Yeah, I'm not great with vehicles, but I am going to do their alt. modes eventually. In fact, the vehicle mode for the next character, Magnificus, is already done:



It's a stealth bomber. I originally made it to be Soundwave's alt. mode, but I repurposed it. As you can see, it's not that great. However, I made this awhile ago when I didn't have as much experience with Sketchup. I think I'll be able to do better with the alt. modes of the other characters.

 

hmmm,a stealth bomber? nice. i can suggest lazerbeak,but i was thinking Skystalker Drones. i think Magnificus should have a little set of minions. or followers in this case

 

Yeah, I could see Magnificus having little minions, and I like Skystalker. I might do them after I get the main characters modeled.

Well, Magnificus is done. He didn't take very long at all!

I didn't really base his design on any of his past versions. He was such a minor character that I wasn't afraid of completely re-imagining him. The only things he has in common with his namesake is is color scheme and his function as Decepticon Scientist.

This version of him is a complete egomaniac (He likes to call himself "The Magnificent Magnificus"). He's an expert Energon engineer; he designed ToxEn and Ore 13. He would be an invaluable asset to the Decepticons if he wasn't so averse to following orders; he sees himself as much too intelligent to be anyone's lackey.

Just wanted to pop by and tell everyone that I haven't forgotten about this project. We have family staying at our house, so I haven't been able to work on any models. I'll be working on these again in a week or so.

Well, I'm back!

Here's Kup. I'm not sure if I'm thrilled with how he turned out. I wanted him to be more of a legendary warrior than a decrepit old guy, but now I'm not sure. I might make a new head and use this model for someone else.


Anyways, here he is:

Kup looks awesome! That's certainly one of the finer ones.

I do need to suggest, though, adding as much kibble as possible without it looking rediculous.

The lack of kibble makes them looks overly-human and not robotic enough. Adding wings on the back using the car doors or some back kibble with the roof would help them look less organic and more energetic. As I said, these are excellent, but you can easily improve them into something even more amazing.

 

Yep, I definitely think you're right about the kibble. Because of your suggestion, I modeled Kup's alt. mode and used it to create kibble for him.

This is the first time I've ever done a truck. It's not great, but I should get better as I do the alt. modes for the other characters.
