Yeah, haven't fully fleshed out his character yet, but he's definitely not the strategic genius he traditionally is.

The other Combaticons will have to wait a bit. I have a few designs I have to do first before I can start on them.

Thanks! I'm really glad you think that. That's my favorite part of making these designs; trying to find ways to reinvent these characters, without completely stripping them of every defining trait they have.

Thanks. :D  And yep, that's right.

Ah, but weird ideas are my favorite ideas!

Yeah, I probably will add a bipedal mode.

And yep, the other Combaticons will have a similar theme. :D

Alright, three design today! It's the Dreads. I had to get these done quickly because they appear in the comic soon.

They are three master infiltrators created from the splitting of a single spark. They share a mind link, but each of them has a unique personality. They are in charge of the infiltration of Earth.

Aww. For a moment I thought this was gonna be Reflector.

But hey, the Dreads are awesome too! I actually kinda hope that Hatchet turns out to be super smart, because that would not only be really awesome, but it would shake things up a little.

Just from their character models, though, I'd take it that Crowbar does the talking, Crankcase the general pummeling, and Hatchet the ripping and tearing. I take it these guys are Starscream's personal "special ops" team?

Crankcase is my favourite. I don't know why, but he is.

I love how they all transform into the same car, but you gave them their own personalities and colorschemes. Just for fun, I suggest Crankcase is the hitter, Crowbar is the hacker, and make Hatchet into the planner; with a sophisticated socialite accent. ;)

Yeah, Reflector is cool. I've had plans to do him for a long time, but I never have done it yet...

You probably already have a pretty good idea of what Hatchet's personality is, but I'll talk about it anyways in case there's someone reading this who hasn't read the comic (shame! :p ): Hatchet has a suave and upper-crust demeanor, and is genuinely intelligent, but his bestial appearance betrays his true nature. On the inside, he's deeply savage and violent.

Kind of. They're primary function is to lay the initial ground work for Infiltration.

Thanks. :D  And yeah, I can see the Cars comparison. :lol

Thanks. Tried to make them somewhat unique in vehicle mode.

Glad you like him. :D  He was the first one I did.

Thanks. :D  That's pretty much their functions, but I hadn't thought about Crowbar being a hacker. I like it, though...

Okay, it's been a long time. A lack of free time and kind of a burn out is the reason for that. I'm back, though!

I want to get back into making designs, but I want to move on from this aesthetic. If things work out, Series 2 of the comic will have a new look. I'm trying to be more streamlined and stylized, but I haven't nailed down a specific look, yet.

Anyways, here's Bludgeon. He's undead, so that's why he's so damage looking. He can't transform any more; he's lost too many parts. He'll appear in an upcoming issue of the comic.

Oh that is awesome! Definitely one of my favourites of your designs.
