CaroRichard's work

Hello fellow artists and transformers fans!

First of all, call me Caro. I prefer that. Shorter but still working.

Secondly, I also speak french so you can use that language with me, no problem!

I'm a graphic designer and illustrator/painter that loves transformers since the 80's. 2 years or so ago, I started drawing transformers, for fun. That allowed me to learn new techniques of drawing and developp my art. I hope one day I'll be good enough to find a job as an illustrator or in the colouring field (I discovered that I really REALLY love colouring pictures...)

So, people are always asking me to see my work. I thought it would be a great idea to share it with you too... Will be another way for me to recieve comments and learn even more! (and who knows... find a job!)

Hope it'll please your fans eyes!

You can have more of my work ( and more transformers stuff ) in my gallery:

I'll start my gallery by posting one of my recent piece of art... My idea of what Jazz would look like in TF: Prime!

And what about where I started?

So... I'll post a few of the art I started with back in... what... 2010?

I'm working a lot with Ben Hansen (AKA 1314) and coloring his stuff as well as creating backgrounds. So, here's one of our first collabs:

And the last one for tonight, another collab with Ben Hansen (AKA 1314).

Digitally colored by me, I also digitally painted the entire background.

Hope you enjoy!

I'm still amazed at the amazing gritty coloring you can pull! I mean, it reminds me of hand painted illustrations from the G1 era. Fantastic work, and great to see you here, it's a great place to get noticed, especially with your talent!

Ah, the memories. I have to say that...*Magnus pokes my shoulder and mumbles something* ...ugh..hold on, Caro......*goes arguing with him and returns after few moments* There, I had to calm him after noticing the QuickSpin avatar you are using and was wondering when can we see Quickspin here. Hey, cant blame him, the bot is in love. XD but he can be quite irritating from time to time. ^^'
Really good to see your art here, the boards has won a marvelous artist to the already talented group formed here already.

Dying from sheer cool over here. Fantastic colourwork, wow!

When a Decepticon supply depot is invaded, the overworked clerks of the war effort avenge themselves in the only way Decepticon administrative assistants can...! Mostly OCs, three canon guys. No pairings, no slash, plenty of violence and assholery, G1.

Well thanks! If I can continue developing my style and meet new awesome artists to learn and work with, I think I will like it here!

Thankies! I sure hope to be able to post more cool stuff soon! Working during the day (in a non-art related job mind you... ¬.¬) and having a baby at home makes my art go sssssslllllllloooooooooow!
