Thanks it was a good one!

It (Wallet Crusher) will be printed in this material:
Poly Jet White: 3D Printing & Rapid Prototyping

It is as fine of definition and durability as any regular mass production toy.

It's not like that I promise. This kit is a something I wanted to do to shore up the shortcomings
of a toy I really like. Tom got on board and we hammered it out. This kit is mine and Tom's
way of sharing the "wealth" so to speak when it comes to what modern customization can do
with some money and patience.

Your hand made customs are like mine, a little piece of my heart goes into that work.
I look on the work I have done over the years. And think about how it pleases me that
I could pollish some decent product into being some of the real gems of my collection.

As promised here is the Creative Marketplace thread for this kit:

Glad to hear you had a good birthday!

I'm still interested, i think i'll go for the standard shapeways version, then paint and assemble it myself, I just need to put my payment details on shapeways, but since my bank card is in the custody of my mother (to stop me from going on retail therapy sprees ), i'm not sure when that will happen.

Just one Q: Which material is the best from Shapeways for durability? Exactly how fragile would it be made entirely from FUD? (I don't want it to break while handling it/putting it together)
I'm a Jack/Arcee shipper and damn proud of that fact.

Don't like that? Tough.

The current prototype is made in the FUD material. While not super fragile it does need a light touch when assembling.

What kind of finish/quality are we looking at for the middle grade? Never ordered off shapeways, and never liked the grainy look it has.

Finish Quality by level:

Standard:
Quote:
A bit grainy due to the media used. I am pretty good at getting
optimal results from "Strong Flexible" materials after finishing
the surface and priming them.
Deluxe:
Quote:
After finishing this level will be pretty much mass production quality.
It has a finer grain and takes surface work better than the materials
used for "Standard".
Wallet Crusher:
Quote:
All around the best quality in durability and texture. The "Crusher"
level has the highest material definition and the strongest polymer
of the three. If you want one that is virtually "C10" level quality,
"Wallet Crusher" is the way to go.
