I was thinking I would make the Ripper next. Love me some power tools gone crazy!

    Thanks guys,

Actually that's exactly what I did. I really wasn't going for accuracy, I wanted it to be more like a little Marker statue that would see on a Unitologist's desk.

Okay, Ive re-worked the sights. They're a little bigger now, and thery shouldn't be prone to breakage when assembled.

I also put the small parts on a runner so they wont get lost.

If you have a plasma cutter, can we get a ST-4 (Fracture)?

Ok, I've got the ripper block model all worked up. From here im just gonna keep playing around with the mechanics and fine tuning the proportions. The design might not be compatible with TFs who have a lot of arm kibble. I'm working on a way to make the ripper more universal, but i can't make it accommodate all TFs.

The ripper will be able to fold up on the arm when not in use
    [IMG]

And can flip down for buzz-saw ripp'n fun time.

Do to the design the upper portion will detach so it can be put in your TF's hand
    [IMG]

More to come as I get this thing closer to completion.

Here's the Ripper! Perfect for sawing horrid space Zombies into little piles of evil parts. A great weapon for any TF who loves to make a sickening mess out of things!

I've made the model available, but it should still be treated as experimental. It can be found here The ripper on shapeways

The Ripper folds up when not in use, just like the game model.

    Weeee, murder time!!

The handle can slide over to accommodate TF's with wider arms. But sadly this design wont work with all TF's.

The top part of the handle is removable so it can be inserted into most 5mm TF's hands.

Looks excellent sir! Is the handle 5mm?

One last thing, can we have a mirrored version for a dual weilding
    concept I am tinkering on?

Yeah, the handles 5mm. I can make a left handed version, that's no problem. Left handed Ripper.

That ripper is some really great work. I haven't played Dead Space but I do like the story.

Ive been looking for reference for the line gun from Dead Space 2. I found a lot of concept art of the line gun from Dead Space 1, but I'd really like the newer model from DS 2. I'll keep looking, and play the game some more.

    EDIT:
Ok, Im just going to go with the DS 1 design. Found some great reference! Line Gun's gonna rock.

Is someone already doing those weapons? If not I'll make a few of the weapons. But if someone is already making these I wont. I don't like to step on other modeler's toes.

Speaking of game turned TF weapons here's the Ripper revision 1. I improved the detail on the model, now its not so bare.
