    FAQ
    Q. May I share my entry outide of this thread?
    A. Yes.

    Q. May I post a WIP thread on the forums?
    A. Yes

    Q. Can I collaborate with another member for my entry?
    A. No.

    Q. Do I get to choose the prize sent to me?
    A. No. Prizes are chosen at random.

    Q. Can my entry consist of more than 1 image?
    A. Yes, if you want to do, say, a front and back of a faux box, or multiple faux screen shots. That is fine, but it will only count as one entry.

    Q. I posted my entry, but I want to make changes or add to it, can I?
    A. No. Once you submit something here, that is the final entry. So make it count.

    Q. What type of image can I submit?
    A. 2D art, computer generated images, 3D art, photoshopped photos, photoshopped video game screen shots, etc.

    Q. Can staff members (mods, content contributors, photos staff, etc.) enter?
    A. No

    Q. I don't live in the U.S. Can I still enter?
    A. Yes.

    Q. Can I enter an animated image or a video?
    A. Yes.

    Q. Who's judging the entries?
    A. Upper level staff of TFW2005.

    Q. Hey, I found some awesome fan art, can I just use that?
    A. NO! If you want to use fan art, it must be your own.

    Q. Can I use officially released Transformers art?
    A. Yes, so long as you aren't simply slapping that one a box or something and expecting that to be your entry. It's a photoshopping contest, so go to town.

    Q. Does it have to be an 8-Bit or 16-Bit era style game?
    A. No. Any gaming era is allowed.

    Q. Can I use someone else's custom figure for my photoshop or entry?
    A. No

    Q. Can I use your Boombox art from the gallery?
    A. EDIT: After further review, yes, you can use the Boombox art from the gallery, just not from the Boombox comic book.

    UPDATE:
You cannot use other people fan art. You cannot steal art from other members and claim it as your own. If you are entering artwork, then you must be the artist. If you are caught doing this, you will be immediately disqualified.

TFW2005 has teamed up with Razer for and an awesome contest where you could win some amazing Transformers PC Gaming prizes! We will be giving away a selection of Razer's Dark of the Moon DeathAdder Ergonomic Gaming Mice and their Dark of the Moon Vespula Dual-Sided Gaming Mouse Mats. Don't know what we're taking about? Well check out Razer's Transformers: Dark of the Moon Collector's Edition Gaming Peripherals.

    Contest
Create, draw or photoshop an image showing TFW2005 as a video game from any gaming era. You can alter photos, video game screen shots, create faux box art or create an image from scratch. Do you picture TFW2005 as an old school side scroller like Super Mario, or do you picture it as a fighting game? How about an Atari 2600 era game? It's your choice. The only criteria is that your submission must be clearly related to video games and be clearly related to TFW2005. That's it.

Now remember, TFW2005 is a TRANSFORMERS website, so incorporating something Transformers related (like our very own mascot, BOOMBOX) into the image will likely earn you some extra consideration.

Here is my entry. Boombox sprites + his personal symbol.

Boombox alt mode is firing off a sonic boogie attack just for fun. lol

Picture 7 is the picture that shows how it would look in a game (without being able to see the pixels).

For me, this is how I would imagine him in an older video game. Blocky graphics and sentimental goodness unite!

    Here is my entry:

I actually got the idea from a Ninja Turltes special. Why not combine all the worlds of Transformers into 1 and see who is supreme. So I turned it into a Super Smash Brothers theme.

If you can not read the back, it says:

Save the world or destroy it. Portals from different Dimensions have opened and Autobots and Decepticons from other worlds have broken free. Some must work together and some create rivalry. You must help your side and watchout for the Master Hand Unicron.

Play as over 100 Autobots and Decepticons, battle at over 50 locations, use up to 30 weapons. Up to 4 player multyplay. Lead your Dimension to victory and see who is superior.

Also, I knew that maybe I need the mascot, so I hand drew Boombox.

    Just imagine it:

Beast Wars Rhinox vs Animated Swindle

    Movie Barricade vs RID X-Brawn

    or

G1 Optimus Prime vs Prime Soundwave

Now, this is actually a functioning game that I put together, but for some reason it's only working in Chrome and Safari. I'm working on a single player mode but having trouble with the enemy AI at the moment.

Click on the image above or here to get to the game.

Your objective: find the rarities and leave the shelfwarmers.
Your opponents: the scalpers (who are totally not Swindle clones)
Your one edge: holo projectors dispensed by the "H" button that hide rarities as Tuner Mudflaps, BUT REMEMBER WHERE YOU HID THEM!
Your controls: use the arrow keys to navigate and the spacebar to pick up Transfomers.
    Good luck Autobot Boombox!

    My Submission

Here is my submission for the contest. I had the idea to combine all generations because of how many generations are loved on this website. Here is my idea of what TFW2005 would be like as a video game.

    Here's my entry, now TFW2005 is a coin-up sidescrolling beat'em up!

Given that the whole game screen made it all too small in the picture, just imagine the screencap showing the whole game area before the classic "Move on" sign when you beat all the opponents.
