    UPDATE: Extended until August 12th.

    Fan Artists,

TFW2005 wants to showcase some artwork from our amazing fan community. We are going to be running a special project (it's s surprise) and it's all related to the series Transformers: Robots In Disguise. I will be looking for artists to submit Transformers: Robots In Disguise themed artwork for this project, which will be featured right here on TFW2005.

I will be choosing about 12-15 total pieces of art to showcase as part of this project. Artwork does not have to be "new", but must fit in with the dimensions listed below.

    Details
    - Dimensions: 8x10 inches at 100 DPI minimum (anything smaller will not be accepted)
    - 2D, 3D, color, black and white are all acceptable
    - One submission per person
    - Deadline is July 31
    - Send all submissions directly to me via Private Message
    - Must be RID themed

I cannot reveal any details about the project itself. Please keep in mind, this is for fun and to get some art seen by those outside this forum. We will not be selling or claiming any rights to your artwork in any way.

If you are a Customizer, and would prefer to submit an RID custom, please see HERE.

I might get involved, can the dimensions be bigger than 8x10?

They can be, but the image will be ultimately reduced to fit within those dimensions listed.

Also, collaborations are cool to go with. If you want to draw, and have someone else color or something like that, no problem.

Dots Per Inch usually in relation to scan resolution.

    Cool, thanks!

Also, Joe, how do I send an image to you? There's no attach image feature in PMs and Photobucket resizes the image and changes the resolution.

Fixed size in inches, above-screen minimum DPI, and exposure outside of the TFW site? sounds like a real-life exhibition to me.

    .. or print resolution.

What this means is that your image must be either 800x1000px or a multiple thereof, keeping the same aspect ratio. Eg. 1200x1500px, 1600x2000px, etc.

No worries. And I think that's a very good idea. We've been seeing some great pop culture art shows here in Philadelphia (TMNT was the latest) and one day perhaps we could all organize something like that.

Tempted to submit something for this, I've done every on-screen RiD character in the Movie style. However, all my artings have been done in MSPaint. Would that be bad, or wouldn't that matter? Though it woud be tricky to find out the dimensions, I don't know how to convert pixels into inches.
