Hello everyone, Here's something I made in my spare time with Corel Photo Paint.

    - The image of the aircraft carrier was too small so, I used the clone tool to create all of the water on the right side of the carrier.

    - I used the zoom blur effect to get the "motion" in the photo. I centered the blur on the end of the carrier to make it look like it was taking off from that point.

    - I added the jet and duplicated it. Next I blured the jet on top and erased the part that I wanted you to see (the cockpit and tail) so that the unblured jet underneath was showing.

    Hope you like it :)

(notice the three guys in yellow in the second photo are not in the first one)

UPDATE: Sr-71 fly by over new york

The SR-71 is an awesome piece of machinery and you've done it justice here. Awesome stuff.

Thanks, unfutunatly the Blackbird can't take off from an aircraft carrier let alone land on one. :)

It's a nice composition nonetheless. We can imagine the SR-71 doing a low flyover and giving the carrier boys a bit of a fright. (Taken in sequence, the F-35 might be a quick response.) Also, it's interesting that you've selected a dual cockpit version of the Blackbird--a transition pilot having a naughty bit of fun perhaps?

all blackbirds were duel seaters even its predecessor the yf-12 had a duel seat version but there was a single seater built(a-12) as well which is the exact same plane w/a sightly different canopy and designed to be an attack fighter/and for the cia..

the A-12 is the only version of the blackbird w/ one seat..same plane as the SR-71..but its a single seater use by the CIA...not the blackbird which is use by the USAF... but pretty much the exact same thing all blackbirds are 2 seaters.. i know this because the SR is my favorite plane... ive actually got to see both jets while they were still in active service....and 3... ive actually met people while in the military while working on jets for the military that worked on BOTH aircraft.....ohhh and if ur lucky one might just still see one of two operational SR's that nasa still flys...tho they rarely fly them...but i did get a good look at one while crusing the nasa side of edwards AFB in early 2000.

ohhh and by the way that is a two seater not the one seater as you were stating so that pic is of a two seater SR-71 and not the one seater.....the canopy splits in the middle and the WO..which really just controls the radar and jamming sits there..if ur refering to the plane that looks like the SR but has a raised canopy in the back.. its referred to as the YF-12..and its the experimental version of the SR-71/A-12 before it became operational...hence the YF...and i believe they still fly it out in edwards or nasa did fly em
