Take your time, I'm just wondering. I'm going to buy the blades though, they look great.

Hey FB, Does your new F.E. Optimus Swords/stacks set work on P.RID.E. Prime? if not ...ok... if yes Great! Also (it being your "down" period) Would it be to hard to re-engineer the swords to rotate and allow for the blades to point in the direction of your preference, but have the "handle" still lay flat against his arm?

Oh and any plans for a "show accurate" gun for P.RID.E. Optimus?

Just a quick message and apology to you guys. In a previous message I mentioned I've been running into some technical problems with the shapeways site. At this time you might encounter some oddities in your orders but be assured in trying to make thi process as painless as possible. Don't shy away from reporting any errors in your orders, alright? I want to be able to track everything.

Excellent, amazing, incredible work, Fakebusker. You're very talented. If I may throw a suggestion for future products out there, have you considered making guns for RID Cliffjumper?

    Hi guys,

Please, no need to get into a fight here. But Moonstreakr and Daimchoc is right. I am on a hiatus right now and I will not take most requests unless it really intrigues me. I understand there is always need for show-accurate items like Cliff's blaster, Wheeljack's blaster, etc but I can't spare the time now. Credit to all of you guys for suggesting though. It helps me get a sensing of what the fandom needs.

That being said, I've listened to your feedback and I made a variant of the TFP Optimus set, this time with separate rotating blades! There will be some compromise in terms of visual aesthetics because I need to include the peg mechanism, but if you can overlook that, this set is perfect for you!

Oh, and the peg at the bottom of the sword is 5mm, so figures can ignore the sheath and use the sword 'normally' if you wish to.

You can get this variant set at
TFP (FE) Optimus Prime set (rotating blades)

Could you possibly just recreate the FE Prime sword exactly? No offense, but those swords aren't accurate compared to the pic from the show a page or two back. The FE blade is more accurate.

Alright guys...I love you all and I'm trying my darndest to address as many questions/comments as possible. Apologies if I missed out anyone, alright?

Smashy's sample will be coming in less than 2 weeks, so we will have a better feel of how well it will work.
The shield bot, mace bot ideas are awesome. I was thinking of adding a sword bot to that list as well. Have the major weapons of the TF mythology transform into their own characters.

That was what I was thinking of while working on Smashmaster, as the hammer for Solus Prime looks really cool and I like the idea of a 'smith minicon' that helps her craft.

    What's a shinki?

Unrelated, but Snyps (or anyone else) do you know where I can get a larger version of your signature? It's awesome source material!

I'm still reluctant as that will bring me into Perfect Effect's territory, and I've explained my reluctance before.
But good thinking of adapting the existing design, Tom. If I ever do this concept, the big Thuggers will transform into a weapon sure, but they must transform into a vehicle mode as well just to sate my requirements. Kinda like a cassette on wheels LOL.

It's tough to make posable hands that small, as the smallest reliable design I can make is the MP Seeker hand. Any smaller and the fingers become fiddly and sockets will break.

I've tried this size range before. Check out my Soundwave:

His fingers kept falling off and that's why I didn't release those hands.

A generic looking cutting blade attachment will work really well for a lot of characters...Ratchet, SG Rodimus, movie Starscream, etc
I'll do it eventually, but in a more generic, cybertrony style...I would assume it will still fit the HoS universe cuz it's so small...

Alas, ye be missing out the fellow of infinite jest!
Yours truly wilt remain here still, full of jibes, gambols, flashes of merriment there would set the boards on a roar...sodontworryboutit.

The Scrapaci are 2cm tall, so I would think they are somewhat smaller than Kreons. Not too much though.

Awesome Daim! And thanks for sharing!
A minor critique (but I know you can take it) is that I'd like to see those knuckle missile things in gold instead of yellow, but it's just a nitpick...

How well do the hands hold up to handling weapons of that size? Do they sink from the weight?

Who do you think I am? I'm half a fish! Mind tricks won't work on me, only bright lights!
Yea, I was playing a bit of good ole' WFC yesterday. Helps me get in the mood for workin' on some guns...Give me a few weeks and we'll see what we have.

I've explained it on my model page I think. I have to remove some of the detail for the rotating version and indeed, sacrifice accuracy for reliability. Those fins and tubes you see in the original version are very thin, and since most people will be grabbing onto that area when pulling out/pushing in the sword on the sheath, I see it fit to replace those details with thicker plate details. I don't want to receive feedback that the pipes/fins are flexing or breaking under pressure.

If 100% movie accuracy is for you, then I recommend the original release. I want to make as many people as happy as possible.

I don't mean to crap on you Idea, but this has to be compatible with PRID, they pretty much thew away that mold, the ENTIRE FE LINE a series of grails for futre fans who grew up on prime, like I did in RID.
