Agreed... Not really into the bayonet feature. Plus, Arcee never even had that in the show.

I'd like your stingers to attach to the new guns for alt mode, but don't need the bayonet function., and I wonder how the Quad implodators look on PRID CJ.

For the stingers to attach to the guns, you *will* need the bayonet feature. They are using the same mechanism, so you might be contradicting yourself there. The other alternative is to give the blasters a 5mm peg hole which will make it chunkier (chunky = bad) or redesign the stingers to incorporate another mechanism. This doesn't work too, as those who already ordered stingers will have their blades turn obsolete.

It is a tough decision, it really is.

As for the Implodators on CJ, and Whirl claws on Arcee, it might be tough to make requests like that as they all belong to different lines and not everyone collects every line as well as orders everything from my store (myself included). But no harm trying, I'd always say.

Can you do a new, light piped head for ROTF voyager megatron (ignore/redo faceguards if needed, mine is missing them.) that looks like this?



(if commision only, how much?)

FB: I wonder... With an abundance of PRID CJ, WJ, and BB figures, I wonder if it makes sense to make a head sculpt and weapons for troops. Basically making these figures as Robo-troopers like the vehicons.

Coincidently I was working on this at the moment. I don't usually like to show WIP shots but since we are on the topic I would like to show it to help move the conversation along.


Heads are hard to do and take a long time, more so than hands as there are so many more considerations to account for. Besides, faces are judged more strictly for their appearance than other parts because we as humans are so attuned to deciphering facial features.

Edit: And maybe the program I'm using isn't really built for making faces...

Crowbar's face is one of the few I'd really like to do cuz I want to have a proper deluxe crowbar figure and all his trimmings (which will be a topic for another time). I won't normally take requests for faces unless I really, really feel for it.

So Ellamin, to commission that head design for DOTM voyager Megatron, I charge a standard rate of $60/hour, and I estimate to take 8 - 10 hours.

Daimchoc: Weapons are cool. But what do you want to see exactly for those converted vehicon troops?

Not necessarily vehicon troops, but something more generic. Do you remember those Animated Auto-troopers?




The CJ, WJ, BB PRID molds could be used as the bodies with new heads. It could just be blocky heads with masks. As for weapons, swords and guns that you've already produced would work fine for them. I bet that the modified WJ and CJ blasters that you've made would be great for these.

These are pretty cool...are they Arms Microns or 3rd party stuff? Cuz it will be funny to have a Bulkhead holding a Bulkhead minicon.

For the weapons, I'll prefer to have a running theme going on as I make 'em. Having 'generic' weapons might be too vague a descriptor to use...What makes a generic fakebusker gun different from a sunlink gun from a moonbasetom?

At least for the recent Secession weapons there is a story/source to unify them together, and good references to work with.

I see your point on the weapons... You have some cool naming conventions and I know you'll come up with some. I'll see if I can as well and throw it in the pot...
