So I don't own the PRID Prime mold nor the UM repaint. Based on that I heard the hands are locked in by a pin? Is it not possible to remove the pin by tapping out?

Alrights. After having the new Legends Megatron in hand I was really turned off by the design of his cannon. The figure is solid and real fun but I couldn't stand how slender and small the barrel was, hence I got to work.

The new cannon is obviously inspired by his G1 appearance, and attaches to his forearm using the same balljoint system. There's a 3mm rod at the top for adding additional armament if you're so inclined. Yes, the cannon is made to fit onto his tank mode as well, albeit with a heftier tank barrel.

(after checking out issues of Megatron Origins I realised his in-comic cannon does not look like that. But hmm...I'd much prefer a G1-esque look anyway!)

After finishing the cannon I er...went crazy and went on to model his pickaxe and flail. Just because.
Somebody please stop me before I start modelling the apex armor/throne, please?

This set will be released once testing is complete.

1. by itself
2. attached to the forearm
3. from side view and top view
4. plus measurements (in centimeters)

I'll gladly cook up the hook hand in a jiffy. No promises if it can be articulated though, since the PRID OP hand is very small.

Hi guys,

So I've completed the design for Ultra Magnus's claw. Replacement of the hand should be easy; unscrew the forearm, pop off the old hand and put the new one in. I've tried my best to add as much articulation as possible. Both 'finger' digits can swivel in and out, and the top digit is double jointed.

At this juncture I'd like to say that it is most unlikely I'll do any testing for this model, since I have no intention of getting PRID Ultra Magnus at all. It *should* work with his transformation, it *should* articulate well enough and it *should* be able to hold 5mm peg weapons, but I won't make any promises. Buyer beware!

Actually, FaceBomb is a really silly name. So I'll be opening this one up to you guys. Feel free to suggest the cleverest, coolest name you have and I'll use it for the final Shapeways model.

Anyway, this accessory can be mounted on its target via a 5mm peg or a pair of gripper claws. Those claws are sized to fit around *most* deluxe sized heads.
