Here's Rewind in MTMTE. An important part of his design is the camera on his head. It's called to attention numerous times. As for weapons, I haven't seen him with any in the comic.

When do you figure the DW/SQ hands will be ready for order? Or are they up already? Couldn't find them (asking because of that pic you posted on FB)

I have pretty good idea of what the answer to this will be, but here goes...

Hey Ariel, Have/will you ever CONSIDERED making some Kamen Rider-esq disk-formers for FOC "Wave and company?

I know you love your thuggers but i'm looking for something simple and pretty DISK shaped to put in 'Wave without all the Auto-morph crap and actually look like a CD/DVD. Besides this way with how deep his chest is ALL his "minions" could fit in there (more or less.)

Let me know your thoughts, I haven't seen anyone voice this idea yet.
(may have just missed it thou)

Yes, but they don't have to be... ;)  Some telescoping design would definitely work.

They do telescope, that's why they're so big. For the proportions to work, along with still being able to collapse, they turned out that size. I started this before Ariel posted his folding designs, but the ball sockets in pairs are almost identical.

Yes. I'm just saying that maybe FB can update this design using shapeways... Since, SW also produces metal designs.

    UHHHHH, I know that.

I'm just asking for fb's take on the idea as a designer (which is what I wrote)

Oh, is the artbook already out? I've gotta check out Amazon then! That volume is chock full of resources!

Regarding the third party Bulkhead set, it is not my place to put a value judgment on their creation, but I like my add-ons to be show accurate. It's just odd that they formulated that set based on that 5 seconds in the show when Bulkhead was wielding it when the Forge has appeared in so many other scenes.

It's a partsformer too, with extra pieces all over the place. And you know how I feel about partsformers...

No, I have not considered that... :)
But it's an interesting idea and there is a merit to have simple disc beasts with no springloaded gimmick, I must say.

    Thanks Daim!

Well, since the discussion has turned to telescoping and metal... that both telescoping and metal (or either) is going to seriously thicken the spider legs and make it even more expensive than it is. Firehawc is right that the proportions for spider legs is too big for the chopper, but telescoping will not help...
