Okay, so I read up on Strafe a little more, and he's not *completely* devoid of character, thus I decided to draw up a model of him too, for print out by Shapeways. Nothing altered, unlike Lightspeed. This one's meant to be a cross between the G1 toy and G1 character model, which are surprisingly similar in his case.
Maybe you won't need us anymore for your WST collection, seeing how great these are. The jet mode is really cool. Never noticed how "alien" it looks. The colors seem to hide that. Great work on the robot mode too.
Thanks, but the only way I'm able to do these, is because I had vacation time saved up. It takes me about ten times longer than it takes you, so I won't live long enough to complete my collection without help from you guys!
Always loved Strafe. There's even a bit of Ark/Nemesis in his alt mode. Probably the 1st actual toy with a Cybertron asthetic. Much more gracefull than Scattershot's flying tank thing. Still, never could figure out which part was supposed to be the cockpit. His belt or the area where the rubsign was?
