"Pathetic fools! There's no escape!" - Starscream, TFTM: animated

These are digital remasters of original screenshots from the 1986 Transformers animated movie.

This was a lot of fun and I'd love to continue to do these types of images in the future.

Tools: photoshop cs | wacom tablet

    Reference: Transformers: The Movie (1986)
    "Autobot/Decepticon Battle"

    Excellent work!

You know what would be slick, pics of the scenes cut from the movie that were hinted at on the story boards thewombatking posted.

    I've always thought about that.

I didn't see any storyboards though. Where could I find those? I might take a crack at it in the future...

Yep, that would be awesome! Please give us a taste of what the Deaths of Tracks, Red Alert, Mirage, and Hound would of looked like:thumbs2:

    Awesome work BTW!

Wow!!! That one of Starscream is BEAUTIFUL!!! The second one is great too! The background is wonderful. I only have a couple crits on the second one before I can call it perfect. The perspective on Megatron's arm is a bit off. Soundwave's posture looks.... awkard. And the faces on both Starscream and Megatron look just a little off. Don't get me wrong, it's great, but those few tweaks would make this perfect!

    Thanks man!

Yeah, I totally agree with you on all points, especially Soundwave's wonky looking pose. Of course, I was going directly off a screengrab, so I had to keep it 100% faithful to the shot, minus some minor tweaks to hands, faces, etc.

Thanks man! They're lots of fun, you should definitely try it. :D

I'm going to peruse through this when I get some free time. Death of Tracks would be really awesome and I think I can work off of these. :D

I REALLY enjoy seeing you do illustrations of the G1 bots because you've got that Sunblow+anime style nailed down so well.

Yeah, this needs to happen, bud :thumb

    Complete and wholehearted agreement. :thumb

Beautiful work, as if the '86 movie had been been recently made to anime's top-end standards. And add my name to those hoping you'll have a crack at some of the 'deleted scenes', too! :D

Love the art, but forget about all this morbid "death of x" scenes... I want to see the survival of Brawn!
