To be fair, any colour next to G-Exes is eye-catching. :)  And the thrusters are mounted on ball joints, so not only can they swivel up and down, they can also be spread out to the side.

    ------------------------------

    GFB-070 Strikecharge Exceed

An accessory for High Grade 1/144 G-Exes, Shaldoll and G-Exes Jackedge. GFB-070 Strikecharge Exceed can transform from Jet mode to the Charge Cannons and X-Rifle or unleash it's firepower in it's twin-headed "Blue Dragon" form.

"After the success of the Sabretooth as EFF cover fire, Madorna Workshop was secretly contracted to make a second Exceed, one that would increase EFF firepower to levels not seen before. The result was the GFB-070 Strikecharge Exceed, a unique mesh of stealth and strength with a sense of humour all its own.

Strikecharge was Madorna Workshop's attempt at fooling Vagan pilots. While the unit possessed great firepower, the Strikecharge found its niche in the battlefield in its ability to switch from its Strike Jet form to either its Cannons and Rifle, or the dreaded "Blue Dragon". When attached to the G-Exes, the Strikecharge gave the unit firepower beyond the strength of the AGE-1's DODS weapons, and the Charge Cannons could automatically take down Vagan MS, or be personally controlled by skilled X-Rounder pilots. The X Rifle was a powerful gun, serving as a rapid-fire system for cover fire.

The Exceed was given the name "Blue Dragon" by Vagan and Bisidian alike, named after the shower of blue bolts unleashed by the Strikecharge's hidden dragon flyer form. With the X-Rifle detached, the Strikecharge's twin Charge Cannons could deploy as a standalone craft. With full access to the firepower of the Charge Cannons with little recoil, the Blue Dragon could easily outflank enemy MS. Playing mind games with the enemy was the Strikecharge's specialty; would you be fighting one heavily armed G-Exes, or have a twin headed dragon unleashing a flurry of bolts at you from who knows what angle?

While the Blue Dragon was a neat mind game and fun for pilots, the trick soon grew stale, and many EFF pilots found it quite cheap, even if it was effective. Vagan armies also adapted to the Blue Dragon's advent, fighting in pairs to reduce the dragon flyer's effectiveness. The Strikecharge also cost the G-Exes, and later the Shaldoll, the use of their rear thrusters, leaving the units slower than newer Vagan designs, which ultimately led to the decommissioning of the Strikecharge fleet. The Charge Cannons proved to be powerful weapons, though, and Bisidian adopted the technology for themselves in their Cloudlash Exceed fleet, while the AGE System used combat data from the Strike Cannons to forge the AGE-2's Double Bullet wear."

I used a new orange paint on it, Games Workshop's Trollslayer Orange. I'm surprised how bright it is. Regardless, I like how it stands out, I think it's one of the few colours which works on both G-Exes and Shaldoll.

    ------------------------------------------

    Elsta Flare-Blade

"To kick off 2013, here's Elsta! An accessory for Legion figures, Kreons and anything else with 3mm clips, Elsta Flare-Blade comes with a rifle and a blade for damage at any distance.

The Elsta Flare Rifle isn't above shooting things when they're down. Capable of accurate rapid fire, the Flare Rifle is built to set ablaze with each shot. Up close, a shot from Elsta can easily be followed up by a nasty burn.

The Elsta Strike Blade comes in handy to keep enemies within the Flare Rifle's range. Should any units get too close, twin blades and a spiked hand guard tear through armour with no remorse.

Of course, there really isn't any subsitute for raw power, the sound of cords severed and armour smashed. Twirling the Strike Blade up close is fine, but 'delicate' is a word lost on the Elsta Flare Axe. The weight of the rifle behind the blade, the Flare Axe mercilessly crushes armour, caring not for the screams of its victim."

Hope you all like Elsta Flare-Blade. :)

    TSA1: That's a very nice weapon.

BTW, do you think you can do a double bladed weapon for GDO Springer and/or Fansproject Defender?

Hmm...I haven't brought out my Generations Kup in a long time. Elsta actually draws design cues from a custom weapon I built for my HG 1/144 Astraea Type F2, an ignitable blade.

    Thanks daimchoc. :)

As for making a double-bladed weapon, I don't actually have a Fansproject Defender. GDO Springer...I do have a Tomahawk, so I won't rule that out.

Cool, so it's a possibility for GDO Springer then... The sword that he has is just not working for me. It's better if the blades would replace the current rotors.

One of these days I do plan to make a conversion kit to make Tomahawk into a triple-changer. Car, Helicopter, Robot. I realise a few exist already, I have a few other ideas I'd like to incorporate. When I do get around to it, I'll keep your suggestion in mind. :)

    "Scinta" Axe

"The Scinta Battle Axe is a 3mm weapon, made to cleave armour and crush helms. A dented blade not just a mark of war, the scar was made to tear panels and rip wires. Designed for Halo Spartan Minifigs and Kreons, Scinta can also be wielded by Legion Class figures."

I plan to follow up Scinta with other accessories for Kreons, Spartans and Legion Class figures, fitting them in between larger projects.

Hope you all like Scinta. :)

Yep, you do. In fact, so do I. I've been going through blind bag after blind bag recently, and they need more armour.

I'm also designing all the new Spartan/Kreon/3mm compatible minifigure weapons to be printed in White/Black/Transparent Detail, just because I can. :)

Thanks. :)  Those minifugres really need a lot more love than they get. My Kreon Microchanger Galvatron needs more awesomeness!

    -------------------------------------------

    "Evisce" Disc-Blaster

"With the advent of minifigure combat came the inevitable flood of death-dealing technology. Originally crafted by a lone Spartan from a broken disc and barrels scavenged from ruined blasters, Evisce became a mass-produced instrument of destruction when its shielding capability in melee range was discovered.

Inherently covering the arm due to the location of its handle, Evisce become a useful blockade against swords and axes alike. Many Spartans in a pinch were also known to switch to their other hand, leaving Evisce's barrels pointing behind them. In the world of energy weapons, the recoil from charged laser fire acts just like a rocket, the disc end of Evisce becoming a rocket-powered punch."

Hope you all like Evisce. :)

    Well...there goes that well-laid plan...

I wasn't planning to show this so soon, but since the bubble's burst, here's:

    ------------------------------

    "Erate" Jet-Upgrade (For "Evisce" Disc-Blaster)

"As Evisce hit production, its Spartan creator's weapon stash started to reveal itself. The battlefield a perfect advertisement, the Erate Jet Upgrade for Evisce soon caught on as an effective, if slightly cruel method of destruction.

The Erate Blades were known for their 'trails of fire', the visual blur left behind each swing. Thrusters inspired by Evisce's Rocket Punch built into each blade added to the sharp cutting edge left a unique mark on armour; crushed and sliced, the Erate Blades didn't need to cut enemies to shreds, the sheer pain of being hit by a rocket-powered blade disabled most opponents.

Its creator didn't even let enemies run. Combined with Evisce, Erate formed a highly-maneuverable jet pack to chase down enemies. Four thrusters, 2 for lift and 2 to strafe left and right, the speed possible with Erate combined with its deadliness in combat led Erate to follow in Evisce's footsteps, becoming its creator's second mass-produced weapon."

Note: The jet pack form of Erate is designed to work with Halo Mega Bloks Spartan minifigures, using the 3mm port on the back. The Erate Blades are designed with 3mm hilts, and so can be wielded by Kreons and Legion Class Figures. Evisce is designed for use with Kreons and Mega Bloks Halo Spartan minifigures.

Hope you all like Erate. :)

um...oops, it does kind of look like a laser crossbow as well a bit. That 3mm peg is in the perfect spot for such use as well

I could see that. Swapping the blades around so they angled the other direction would further sell that concept assuming you wanted the red barrels facing forward.

TA1, just how big would this be sitting on a spartan's back? About the size of the Marine's back pack? (plus the blades of course).

I wonder if a Kreon sporting a vest would be able to make use of this jet back as well...

I did consider the crossbow idea, but that was too close to Stranzer so I decided to make a jet pack out of it instead. :)

That said, I don't plan on stopping with Evisce accessories yet... ;)

Evisce itself is slightly bigger than the back pack some spartans come with nowadays. The peg which comes with Erate is positioned to make Evisce sit just high enough, so the Spartan's waist can still twist freely.

Also, the blades are angled at approximately 15 degrees back and 15 degrees up, which should give the arm some room to move back before it hits the blades/thrusters.
