I know you designed them for FE Starscream, but are you sure the slot on a fusion booster can't fit AM megatron's cannon/engine mounts? they'd be awesome replacements for the micron cannon and would fit my eventual SGP theme I hope to do on him.

Judging from photos, I believe the peg on AM-05 Megatron's right arm should have the same width, but be a bit shorter than Starscream's connectors. I would guess that the Fusion Boosters (or at least one of them) could work with AM-05 Megatron. I can say that the connector in spaceship mode wouldn't work, since it's located in a sunken area on the ship's top.

Or course, since I don't have AM-05 Megatron, I can only go by photos and make my best guess.

    WIP: ESN-002 Veni

For Veni's hand, I went for an augmented human hand, changing the fingertips into sharpened claws. I also added a small blaster to the back of her hand.

Surely you didn't model that in Sketchup, right? Did I miss that you switched to another program or something?

The way the colours of Veni's head bleed into each other looks a little cringe worthy, it gives off the appearance that her ears, scrunchie, and hair fused together. The fangs also look a little off, they shouldn't be so lumpy.

That's just called a tank :lol

I have a lot of programs going on my computer during any design session. I've been working on modelling organics lately so sketchup was used for the blaster on Veni's hand and the claws, but not the hand itself.

That's probably just me not using the paint tool very well. :(

Veni's not going to transform into a tank. I literally meant a cannon, mounted on treads. Sorta like a Tank but without all the excess armor.

Oh, and I'll probably add two cannons instead of one. Maybe a missile launcher. :)

    WIP: ESN-002 Veni

Just sculpted Veni's foot. I went for an anthropomorphic design here, somewhere between a humanoid and a wolf. Well, by wolf I mean some four-legged clawed animal. :D

Don't ask me why there's a bone at the back of her foot. I like to think it'll make the figure more stable. :)

As always, comments and criticisms are welcome and somewhat appreciated. :thumb

I've basically finished the sculpt on the main body. Now I just need to figure out how to add treads, cannon and a shield to her, so she can transform. I am actively trying to make her alternate mode not look like a folded up organic creature, so we'll see how well that turns out. :lol

And yes, I am aware I got some of the proportions a bit off. I probably should redo her chest since I'm not happy with the *ahem* size, but I'm far too lazy to re-sculpt her. Oh, and she is supposed to be wearing some sort of suit (it's just not coloured in yet), along with the jacket. Probably will change it to a shirt and shorts when I'm done.

    SGW-039 Cloudlash Exceed (for HG 1/144 G-Exes)

"The SGW-039 Cloudlash Exceed was the only Exceed to not have been developed exclusively by Madorna Workshop. The Cloudlash was a special variant created by Bisidian, under the orders of Asemu Asuno. Modified from the EFF's dragon Exceed, the Cloudlash features a huge improvement in speed by mounting four additional thrusters, scavenged from damaged EFF and Vagan mobile suits. A weapon upgrade in the form of it's Laeva Blade-Whip was also included, allowing the suit to easily cut through enemy MS.

As the name suggests, the Cloudlash was designed as a combination of long and short range weaponry. The twin Cloud Cannons flood the battlefield in beam ammunition in seconds, and are able to auto-fire using built-in cameras and sensor arrays. X-Rounder pilots are also able to control the Cloud Cannons manually. The short-range combat effectiveness came from the Laeva Blade Whip, a heated flexible blade which possessed the ability to melt enemy armour as well as slicig through suits. The heated wounds to enemy MS developed a reputation for being difficult to repair due to the melted edges the Laeva would leave in its wake.

The Cloudlash was the Exceed actively deployed for the longest amount of time, serving as valuable cover fire for Bisidian units both offensively and defensively. Indeed, their skeletal wing design, a choice not made by Asemu, but rather made due to a lack of materials, allowed the Cloudlash Exceeds to dodge enemy fire, resulting in the unit being known to often last longer than the Jackedges they were designed to aid. Bisidian only retired its fleet of Cloudlash Exceeds once they reliased the Jackedge casualties were not from enemy fire, butbrather the unpredictable Laeva whips indiscriminately disabling any MS unfortunately enough to be nearby."

    "Valipha" - Breacher Cannon

"A special operations variant of Breacher's cannon, Valipha delivered energy bolts silently. The cannon switched power for speed, with a camera lens disguised as a scope to ensure every bolt went straight.

Add in a missile launcher capable of firing twin missiles simultaneously and Valipha morphed into artillery, letting it rain warheads.

Valipha disguised one last feature. The back of the cannon didn't store ammunition, nor did it weigh enough to act as a bludgeoning tool. It held a c-clip, changing Valipha into a handheld blaster. Sacrificing accuracy for the freedom to fire in all directions, Valipha's handheld form was suited to close up fights, where aim wasn't such an issue."

Valipha once was the Breacher Shoulder Cannon, something that probably still resides on the internet in the midst of dead threads. I went back and redid it, in honour of it being one of my first prints and early sales. It just seemed appropriate to give it a new redesign and hopefully a new lease on life. :)

Oh, and it's made for scout class Breacher, obviously.

    Thanks daimchoc. :)

I just added the renders showing the second Valipha cannon, as they'll be sold as a set to keep Breacher's symmetry intact.

I can't believe I forgot to mention the c-clip compatibility, so I've added taht in as well. :)

Cool. Might want to add some renders of how it attaches to Breacher.

Any tips for someone wanting to take a swing at making something for shapeway?

Once I get more weapons for Breacher made... ;)

Thanks citoria. All I can say is that I took this up thinking the computer would do the work for me. Not true. The amount of manual stitching is insane when things get complicated. Just be prepared to spend ages on it at first, and I do mean ages. :)

    Avasor - Breacher FlipSword

"A short range weapon with 3 modes, Avasor is Breacher's answer to 'Cons up close. Equipped as a blaster, Breacher looses off bolts with Avasor faster than the Valiphas can auto-fire. A deft flick of the arm brings out Avasor's bayonet form, a sword locking in place along the length of the arm. One more change and Avasor shows its sword form; held at the hilt or half way up the weapon, the weight of Avasor's blade makes it as much a bludgeoning tool as it is a sharp edge.

Armed via c-clips, Avasor disguises its connection behind the blaster. A c-clip on top of the barrel masquerades as the most basic of sights, its true purpose to let loose Avasor's sword form. Even the clip holding the blade back against the gun uses a c-clip, allowing Breacher to wield the sword at half its length for more control.

Avasor's Bayonet form, though marketed at a close combat weapon, can reach far ahead of Breacher himself. While striking earlier, this form was known for the most collateral damage in small areas, the blade's tip often slicing right through walls.

The Sword form of Avasor keeps the blade closer to Breacher, allowing both offense and defense. Wielded at the hilt, the weight of the blade cleaved enemy armour in two, while skillful controlled movement at half the weapon's height blocked incoming strikes."

Hope you all like Avasor. :)

Avasor - Breacher FlipSword: 5mm Adapter

"While Breacher was a skilled user of Avasor, one user of Avasor wasted the technology. Weapon designers rushed the production of an adapter, allowing many more units to wield Avasor.

The adapter proved effective, if at one drawback. Built to work with existing Avasor units previously distributed to c-clip equipped units, the adapter could only allow Avasor's blaster and bayonet forms to work. That didn't stop clever units abusing the c-clip on the adapter to allow a pseudo-sword form (thanks to the c-clip built onto the top of Avasor), though it's effectiveness was questionable. It was often impossible to tell if a unit intended to throw Avasor's blade, or if the sword simply fell off."

    WIP: "Viora" - Scissor Dragon

Viora literally will be what it says in the name. It'll be a dragon that turns into a pair of oversized scissors. I'll be making it 5mm compatible, and maybe add a shield to it as well.

As always, comments, criticisms and ideas on where to take this are all somewhat appreciated! :thumb

Just added the wings. Not too sure about them right now. Might change them tomorrow to be smaller. May even change the joints to let them fold up more.

I'm thinking I might make it compatible with ESN-002 Veni. Maybe make it her pet dragon. :)
