Just so you know, the blasters were already done by another SW Designer.

Heh, these blasters were actually designed so that another designer and i could test out a new machine. I made these to test whether or not it could handle the curves and the thin walls. Needless to say, if the results were good i would've reported it a lot sooner. Ah well. Back to the ol' Shapeways drawing board.

Here's something i devised after finishing my exams. I got really bored and was half-asleep and probably half brain dead after the stress of exams, and the idea came to me, "what if TFP Wheeljack had Twin Twist's drills?". Yeah, i don't know what i was on at the time.

    TFP Wheeljack Drill-Blasters

Wheeljack's always been about inventing, and frankly it's about time something blew up in his face again. I wanted something that would match the craziness of Wheeljack, while having some use, so what better than your usual set of blasters, with drills attached?

This set of Drill-Blasters is designed to work in four ways. Obviously, in robot mode it works as a set of regular blasters, but it also has a handy drill option in case Wheeljack ever needs to bore through the Earth for Energon deposits. In vehicle mode, the blasters fit into the slots under the front of the car, where Wheeljack can use them to shoot down fleeing 'Cons. And if there's a 'Con that's just particularly annoying, slap on a set of drills to the front of your car mode, floor the accelerator, and ram that 'Con off the road!

Sure. The Blaster was designed to be able to have almost anything attached onto it, so a wrench can certainly be made for it. As a matter of fact, so can swords and even physical bullets be carved out for it. And i have the pictures to prove it:

    TFP Wheeljack Drill-Blasters: Part 2

I'm not sure if inventing is second nature to Wheeljack, or if too many things have blown up in his face, but no matter how you look at it, more weapons is always a good thing. Drills and Guns not enough for you? No problem!

How about your own energon-powered hacksaw? Comes complete with sharp slicing edge for when 'Cons intrude on your inventing time.

Blades not your style? Just wanna work in your lab all day? Well you can't invent without your trusty wrench! And no 'Con would attack you while you're holding a wrench. Just think how embarrassing it would be, to tell Megatron you got beaten by a scientist wielding a wrench!

And since you never ever want a messy laboratory, here's every accessory in one convenient place!

Remember, please keep your energon powered weapons and tools out of reach of protoforms. Use with caution. Tools may explode in user's face.

Please keep Cybertron clean. Dispose of used bullets responsibly.

*Hope you all like these, feel free to leave a comment below. As always, comments and criticisms are highly appreciated. :thumb

Thanks daimchoc, especially for giving me the wrench idea! :)

:lol  Yeah, the Drill is out there for sure. That's why i'm giving my Wheeljack one.

    Thanks Big Hache! :thumb

While i'm on a roll with weapons and stuff, and i figured i'd finally get around to fulfilling my TFP Cliffjumper's request for more weapons. He wasn't happy with the stock hammer, nor the blasters, so i figured this time, let's just go all out.

    TFP Cliffjumper "Stranzer" Weapons Kit

The result of too many hours spent in front of the monitor, the Stranzer is the ultimate in anti-'Con technology. Basically an entire armory in one weapon, the Stranzer is suited for combat at any distance. You can fight up close, hacking and slashing through 'Cons. You can blast them at mid-range the Stranzer's built-in blaster, and enemies far away get a nasty surprise when a knife flies right into their optic sensors.

This is the Stranzer weapon kit:

    The Stranzer Blaster
    [IMG]

The Stranzer Scimitars, one for each manipulator

    The Stranzer Scimitars, combined end-to-end

The Stranzer Combat Knife, for close range combat

That rounds out the Stranzer weapons on their own, but there's always going to be that time when 'Cons are just too far away even for your blaster. That's the time to call on the best Stranzer weapon. Combine all the parts, and you get...

    ...the Stranzer Bow

The Stranzer Bow is the waepon with the longest range. Loaded with the Stranzer Combat Knife at its tip, this weapons can hit 'Cons from miles away. With dual grips, the Stranzer bow can be held vertically as an archer would, or horizontally to simulate a crossbow. The blaster's energon power aside, the Bow calls upon two other power sources, one compressed gas cartridge on the blaster's side and a second energy tank underneath, to launch the Combat Knife arrow into far away 'Cons.

Of course, for added intimidation, the Stranzer Bow even stores on the roof of your vehicle mode.

Hope you guys like the weapon kit. As always, comments and criticisms are welcome and appreciated. :thumb

    TFP Cliffjumper "Evala" Weapon Kit

So it turns out i left out one thing, and my Cliffjumper hasn't been very happy about it. I can't believe i forgot Cliffjumper's cannon. How could Cliffjumper be left without a huge cannon?

The Evala weapon kit should set things right. Whereas the Stranzer focused on versatility, the Evala does one thing and it does one thing well. It blows stuff up. The Evala weapon kit focuses on long range combat, engaging 'Cons before they even know you're in range. The Evala Cannon wipes out enemy units before you step into sensor range, and survivors meet a nasty fate when the Evala Impaler slices right through their spark chamber.

The Evala Weapon Kit is one of the more 'odd' weapon kits ever made for warfare. Unlike standard Energon blasters, the Evala weapons mix Energon and magnetism for a deadly result. The Evala Cannon fires vast amounts of energon, while the Evala Magna-Pistol houses a high-current induction coil to provide an energon-controlling magnetic field, for when you just gotta get up close and personal.

    The Evala Cannon:

    The Evala Magna-Pistol:

    The Evala Magna-Blade:

And for those times when your Cannon's out of ammo, or when you just want to make sure a 'Con's dead, bring out the Evala Impaler:

*For those who haven't figured it out, the Evala Magna-Pistol has a coil built into it to create a magnetic field (seriously, real physics principle here, run a current through a coil of wire and you get magnetism). That in turn allows the Evala Magna-Blade to work, as the blade is made of pure energon, being held in shape by the Pistol's magnetic field. The Evala Impaler is the combination of all three weapons, using the weight of the Evala Cannon to act as a battering ram, while having the Magna-Pistol plugged in to facilitate the Magna Blade at the front. The idea is the Cliffjumper would grasp the Impaler by the hilt (that horizontal screw bit at the top of the cannon), and charge enemy units, aiming to stab through armor with the Magna-Blade.

Hope you all like this weapon kit. As always, comments and criticisms are welcome and appreciated. :thumb

How about fixing TFP Ratchet's backpack... It also needs an antennae.

I just noticed that those weapons have angled handles to specifically be used by TFP CJ. How about using those connector ports and have a straight and diagonal version handles. That way, you can use them on other figures.

Heh, yeah. While I'm on a roll, I thought I might as well milk those joints for all they're worth. :)  Trust me, I'll be using those joints till they go outta fashion. :lol

If you care to show me what you want done on Ratchet, I'd be happy to take a look at it. I don't have the figure myself (given I just got Cyberverse Bulkhead as a stand in for the Voyager, Ratchet is the only one of the main cast I have yet to get my hands on), but I'm always up for making a figure better. :thumb

Good eye. Thankfully this time the design sorted that out before release. The cannon has the lower hilt slanted because it's meant as an over shoulder cannon (G1 CJ was often depicted holding a shoulder-mounted cannon, and this was carried over into kits such as Devil Horns). This hilt, being a 5mm hilt, should work with any figure capable of holding a weapon over its own shoulder. A vertical handle would limit the amount of figures capable of holding it, as they would need a wrist swivel capable of swivelling downwards.

All the weapons with the connector ports up to this post have been designed to work with any figure with 5mm hand holes. Sure, the Stranzer Bow was made for Cliffjumper (the Stranzer Combat Knife has a side port which allows it to stow on CJ's leg, and that only works for CJ), but it would work with most figures with 5mm ports. Wheeljack's Blasters might only fit in his car mode, but that doesn't mean you can't arm someone else with an Energon-powered hacksaw. :)

Sorry mate, but toys here...argh, until we get rid of all the RID Bumblebees, we won't get any new toys. :(  That said, i'm working on importing a few figures.

Anyways, delving back a bit, there's always been one character that i though just wasn't done justice. A great tank and robot mode, but it just didn't have the 'Kapow!' factor.

    Generations Warpath.

Come on, Warpath just needs to have more weapons. He didn't even get a rifle. How's he supposed to be Warpath without artillery? Thankfully, I'm not the only one who wanted Warpath to have more firepower; MonaLazaBeak got me started by showing off a mod using HA Whirl's Gatling guns for Warpath. As always, when it's Warpath, there is no such thing as overkill.

This is the Ebriz Weapon Set for Generations Warpath.

Ebriz consists of as many guns as one could pack into Warpath. Between the two Ebriz Blasters, twin Ebriz Gatling Guns and the dual Ebriz Cannons, 'Cons will be hard pressed to get past Warpath.

The Ebriz Blasters are designed with MonaLazaBeak's original concept in mind: Keep the weapon in the arm. The blasters are designed to fit within Warpath's arm cavity, and work by folding his hand back into his arm (where it was for Tank mode), before plugging in the gun and closing the armour. That's not so say Warpath can't just use it as a handheld weapon too. Either way, the Ebriz Blasters pack a high-current metal coil to facilitate magnetic weapons systems as well as a tank for compressed energy ammunition. Due to the Ebriz Blasters packing so much into a small weapon, they are only lightly armoured, and hence work best housed inside the arm, where only the front barrel is exposed.

Of course, since Overkill doesn't exist to Warpath, two blasters just aren't enough. That's why the Ebriz Weapon Set comes fully equipped with twin Ebriz Gatling Guns. Design to work as arm mounted weapons or handheld, the Ebriz Gatling Guns can unload rounds at 'Cons at insane speeds. Armed with five barrels each and their own high-current metal coils, these twin weapons of destruction amplify the power and firing speed of the Ebriz Blasters to new heights. When both are used together, the resulting spray leaves dents all over a 'Con's frame.

Of course, there's always going to be that pesky 'Con who packs extra tough armour, something the Gatling Guns can dent all day long and still get nowhere. That's the cue the Ebriz Cannons have been waiting for. These dual cannons are heavy duty, all-out destructive weapons. Forget conserving resources, forget preserving the planet. The Ebriz Cannons focus on widespread destruction. Each Ebriz Cannon has two barrels, increasing its rate of fire and stores its own extra energy tank at the back of the weapon behind the lower barrel to compensate for the weapon's fuel consumption. Even with the extra energy tank, though, the Ebriz Cannons deal out so much damage per shot that one full tank won't get you more than 3 or 4 pulls of the trigger with each cannon. Of course, 3 or 4 shots per cannon can kill up to 16 'Cons with good aim, and the explosion upon impact means even a miss can be deadly.

Of course, the Ebriz Weapon Set also comes ready made to fit onto Warpath's tank mode. With 4 adapters per set, the weapons can be made to attach to any of the 4 C-Clip ports on Warpath's tank mode. Add a few Gatling Guns to spray approaching 'Cons, or arm an Ebriz Cannon for extra 'kaboom'! And when you just don't want to go back to base to restock weaponry, take everything. Arm your Ebriz Blasters, your Ebriz Gatling Guns and your Ebriz Cannons all at once!

Each Ebriz Weapon is designed with a connector at the back to let it attach to the adapters, which convert them to C-Clip weapons. For example, the Ebriz Blasters...

...can be made into C-Clip weapons by plugging in the adapter to the back:

All Ebriz Weapons can be turned into C-Clip weapons for storage on Warpath's tank form.

Note: Weapons do not actually fire/explode/have magnetic abilities. Weapons do not actually kill 'Cons...unless aimed properly.

Please conserve our precious Energon resources; Use Ebriz Cannons sparingly.

*As always, comments and criticisms are welcome. :thumb

*Also, yeah, i'm milking those connectors for all they're worth! :lol  Don't fix it if it ain't broke, right? :D

Heh, thanks bro. Don't worry, I'll be using those connectors sparingly. While I intend to use them to allow as much connectivity between kits as possible, they'll be integrated into each design instead of being just tacked on.

"Zirca" Upgrade Kit (for Legion Vehicon)

Ever wanted to army build Vehicons? Just couldn't justify buying multiples of the same toy? What about if you could turn your Vehicon into a drill?

The Zirca Upgrade set is designed to convert a Legion Vehicon figure from a sports car to a drill-tank. The conversion is entirely reversible; all parts attach and detach via existing 3mm ports on the figure. The Zirca kit inludes a drill designed to fit over the front of Vehicon's car mode, along with two treads to attach to the sides of the car. The treads are designed to plug into the arms whole, instead of being split between the arm and leg to avoid modifying the stock figure in any way. The Zirca treads have been made to allow Vehicon's vehicle mode to roll using the existing wheels after conversion.

Please note, the Zirca Upgrade Kit was designed with Frosted Detail and Frosted Ultra Detail in mind. Whist Strong and Flexible has been made available as a print option, however prints in WSF are not guaranteed to be structurally sound.

As always, comments and criticisms are welcome, and i hope you all like it. :thumb
