    Thanks man. Really appreciate it.

The full gallery is here: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radicons-customs/431510-chibi-devs-gallery-shapeways.html

A lot of people have been asking me about this custom. I've still got a few joints left to redo, as I'd like to strengthen some of the joints. Don't be surprised if they'll be unavailable to the public for the next few days. Still a few things I want to work out. Hopefully if I'm quick, they'll be back online before February. Hopefully. :)

Thanks. Just to let you know, I've already started work on Chibi-Crusher. Hopefully will have them all done pretty soon. :)

Hey guys! Don't worry, i'm still breathin', it's just been a hell of a month for me. Holidays, jetlag, constantly on public transport without my laptop, and a new family member (can't say much on these forums, but let's just say the family's been waiting nine months, if you know what i mean).

Still, I just finished up my entry for the Shapeways Siri contest.

I got them, or at least part of them. I will be ordering them tomorrow hopefully.

For the time being, i received the upper body of Kickback (the most complex part due to having to put the wheels in the chest). The parts i have tested and the transformation work. I just want to do a few more things to it before releasing it. Then Shrapnel and Bombshell will follow.

Obviously right now it's missing it's arms legs and head, but those will come next time. Just like with your LOA, i'm testing this in parts. Currently i'm sure the transformation will work (as you can see below). I want to rework a few joints and add a few more locks to the design before releasing it to the public. When it's better than Bumblebee, then it's time to let it loose on the world. :)

    GFX-01 Victory King

So, on another one of my random procrastination sessions, while trying to avoid doing my lab report for uni, i took out my old copy of Gotcha Force and decided to finally beat the game. But i just couldn't stand not having those little Borgs in my toy collection. I know there was a Gotcha Force toyline, but it was reportedly very rare and short-lived, to the point where i've never even seen a picture of one, let alone one for sale. Of course, i had to change that. :)

I started with Victory King, the triple changing Machine Borg. Originally i was going to make Victory Baron (jet and robot), or Victory Machine (jet to tank), but then i'd have to rework the build for Victory King. So i just threw myself in the deep end so to speak and got working on the King himself.

I used three pictures i found off the Gotcha Force Wiki as reference, and improvised the transformation from there. He currently stands at about 100mm tall (give or take a few mm) in robot mode, making him about scout sized. Given Gotcha Borgs are palm sized, that seems about right. :)

Hope you guys like him, and if you haven't played Gotcha Force yet, what are you waiting for? The critics are wrong, it's the best gamecube game ever. :)

    GFX-02 Violet Attacker

Um...yeah, i have no idea why this borg was next. I guess i spent so much time on "The Red Attackers go boom!" that these planes got stuck in my head.

At any rate, for this one i tried to make it as toy-like as possible. That is, include all the screws and bolts to make it look tiny. Other than that, it was just a matter of keeping the bomb detachable, and that was that.

Do hope you guys like it. I can't wait to have this in my collection, i've been hit by that bomb so many times it'd be nice to have a real one to take out my frustration on. ;D

Probably will get my sample around the time i get around to acquiring Victory King. :)  Not sure if it'll be available to anyone else, i'm mainly doing this to fill out my collection. Oh, and there will be a Red Attacker, obviously.

    GFX-02a Red Attacker

Yeah, like i was going to pass up an opportunity for a quick and easy remold. ::)

I guess there wasn't really much choice, after i made Violet Attacker this had to be done. I was lucky that i'd already done most of the work previously, including the wing detailing, so it wasn't too much of a struggle to get the smaller bombs onto this toy.

As always, the toy does feature detachable bombs, which are held on to the plane with pegs. Unfortunately, they don't explode on impact, but surely that bomb dropping on your head would not be a pleasant experience for any borg, right? ;D

Hope you guys like it. Next up is Neo G Red.

    GFX-03 Neo G Red

Hey guys, i just got through with Neo G Red's design, and while it's cost me time to work on the uni work i really should be doing, i think the results were worth it.

For Neo, i really wanted to do something special. So, i decided to make G Red instead. And then add a data crystal. With some extra parts inside of it.

G Red here was designed to be as articulated as possible. I've used ball joints all over this guy wherever i could, and he'll be able to pull off almost any pose. I tried to keep him as detailed as possible, with all the screws that hold him together recreated on this model.

To convert to Neo G Red, all you need to do is open the data crystal (one end can be pulled off) and retrieve the parts inside. I believe you have to beat a Dark Knight first. Then it's a simple matter of swapping out parts to make Neo. G Red's shoulder armor, lower leg armor, right back jump jet and of course his head can all be detached, and replaced with the corresponding Neo parts (you can then just chuck the G Red parts back into the crystal).

Hope you guys like it. Oh, and yes, the data crystal is slightly oversized. It's so that the sword can fit. ;)

Oh man, Gotcha Force! I've always wanted some merch for that game. And it looks like you're off to a great start.

You plan to put these up on Shapeways, right? I'll have to get these if you do.

Hey Treadshot, I just wanted to give you a heads up. I ordered one of your Drift sword 2 fire and the hilt was too big for 5 mm hands. I had to take sandpaper to it to slim it down.

I did order it in dark gray which apparently is having trouble because it came out purple. I'm not sure if that had anything to do with it.

Say is it possible to give the RID Arcee her show accurate wings? I mean the actual wings on thetoy isn't hard to take off so is there a way to make a pair of her CGI accurate wings in terms of size and look and add them to the figure?

Oh, they'll be available as soon as i can get samples in. I just put in an order for Victory King yesterday.

Ah, so that's what Shapeways' emails about a fire sword being sold were talking about.

For the record, there's a reason for that. The sword was printed in DGSF. That's...purple. I've printed in that once, and i've never printed in it again. The dye on that one is rotten, to say the least, and while parts that are all in DGSF fit together, they have issues with other parts (including stock figures). I have no idea what it is with that particular dye, but i've not had the issues with other dyed WSF. The problem isn't an isolated case (especially the purple), as there was someone complaining on the shapeways site about Fakebusker's hands in DGSF being wonky as well. Regardless, I haven't ordered in that material ever again, mainly because it's not dark gray, it's...purple...lilac....violet...something like that...

Me too. I'm considering making him available with and without the data crystal (but still with the Neo parts), for those who want to save a bit.

Hmm...if she'd ever show up here in Australia, sure. :lol

I do intend on reworking my blasters for RID Arcee as soon as i can get one, so wings will likely get bundled up with that. :)

    GFX-04 Megaton Robot

Hey guys, it's me again. Just to be clear, i have been designing stuff, i've just been bogged down with uni work. ;)

Anyways, here's my next model, Megaton Robot. This thing always manages to hit me with its giant ball of death just when i think i've gotten away unscathed, so i just had to make a model of it. Some would say i made it out of frustration, others would say it was made out of awe. Either way, i did keep the giant ball of death...shall we say...detachable? ;)

Obviously the most important thing with this model was to make it actually able to carry around a spiked ball, and that it does. The weapon does stow on it's back, and the arms are made to be able to hold the ball. To lower the cost to a reasonable amount, i had to hollow the ball, and hence there's a hole in the rear, lower half of the weapon. I tried to hide this as well as i could, and the hollowness really helps the robot to stay standing.

Megaton Robot was also designed to have all the articulation that one would expect. Ball jointed ankles, knees, hips, waist, shoulders, elbows and claws (each claw moves independently, so it can open and close its hands) let it assume a vast array of poses, as well as just look cool while the other player is taking flying lessons. ;)

Hope you guys like it. :)
