These are some of those stories. This is: It should be noted that while this project has been recognized by IDW Publishing and Hasbro, none of the works presented have been commissioned or solicited by either company. The stories are not official canon, except where noted. These stories are the result of Transformers enthusiasts taking the time out of their busy days to contribute to a universe they love. No one has been paid for the production of these stories.

I like the simplistic art style- even if there might not be a lot of detail, there's still plenty of life in it. I liked picking a few of the different Autobots out in the crowd, like Cosmos. The story itself seems like it could go both ways, either Megatron thinking about Grimlock since he's always prone to action first, or Grimlock talking about not taking a life, while Megatron would. I'm liking the stark contrast of dark story and "funny" style illustration. I don't feel that the art style is a necessity, but it does add variety and dimension to the piece. I also enjoy the variety of illustration styles Transformers: Mosaic brings to the table. IDW started out this way, but now tends to drift towards DW styles for nearly everything. The storytelling with the artwork is really great, too. |
