The Universe of the Transformers is vast, and populated by many characters. Their universe is a large tapestry, made up of the stories and points of view of countless experiences that serve the larger whole.

It should be noted that while this project has been recognized by IDW Publishing and Hasbro, none of the works presented have been commissioned or solicited by either company. The stories are not official canon, except where noted. These stories are the result of Transformers enthusiasts taking the time out of their busy days to contribute to a universe they love. No one has been paid for the production of these stories.

And we're back with the other side of "Still Life" (you may remember that one panel in that Mosaic featured Magnus' white inner robot in a repair bay).

This is a really good Mosaic. I'm not entirely keen on Magnus feeling so venomous towards Optimus Prime, but that feels like a minor nit-pick for this one.

I agree. Also, I think that last panel could be done just a bit better. These are nitpicks though, because I really like it! I know vector would have too . . . .

Funny thing is, on his own Magnus is a great leader.

I see where you're coming from, but I see this as more of a turning point for Magnus. Until he got his armor, Magnus felt swallowed by Optimus' shadow. I can easily see Magnus coming to terms and realizing that "the one thing he can't stand" about Optimus has nothing to do with Optimus but rather his own short comings. With that revelation and his new armor, Magnus would no longer see himself as being caught in Optimus' shadow (mentally or physically) allowing him to become the warrior he's always wanted to be.
