Hot rods design in general is nice, however its the grin that bothers me. It looks like he would be the type of bot to kick sand in other bots faces at a beach.

I don't know. Not read much of this Hot Rod, but overall he feels like someone who would be cocky about an upgrade. On second thought a simple smile would have made it just as clear.
