RotF Mirage - Contest Design Entry (WIP)

Hey guys! This is what I've been working on the past few days. RotF Mirage!

I started with the alt mode by searching around for cool concept cars and came across the Pontiac Piranha. Being two-toned (and sweet looking) with a blue and white/light blue color scheme, I thought it a nice fit for Mirage.

And here's what I've got so far. I went with a straight on view because I don't have a tablet right now and it's a bit harder using a mouse. I tried to incorportate a little F1 racer look to the chest, which is why the front tires are in that position.

As for weaponry, I'm definitely going to be working on his shoulder cannon.

What do you think?

I can't wait to see the whole thing. It looks like he'd fit right in with the other movie designs.

Minor update. Added some dimension to the chest panels and color corrected to the light blue.

I feel like he should have door "wings" or something similar on his back, to break up the shredded car effect that he's in danger of developing.

Oh, and I'd love to get a closer look at the face/head. It looks very interesting.

You should've seen it this morning. I completely revamped the hip "doors" and lower chest area to be more recognizable as parts of the car and less "shredded". I'm still looking at the issue.

Here's a closer look at the head. Though just enlarged a bit from the above resolution. (I actually hate working much higher because the brushes lag)

Man, these movie designs just keep on getting more awesome everytime I look at them. Got some good talent on here. I'm thinking of joining in myself. Just trying to figure out if I wanna creat a new character or work on an existing one.
