i agree that my pic was maybe a little too influenced by the classic rodimus toy, but its only because its my favourite figure. just looks sssso perfect.
to make up for it im trying movie wheeljack now and it's far more original and movie-looking then this rodimus. i presume that if my wheeljack ends up looking better then this then i can swap entries right? If not no matter, Id happily enter rodimus.
cheers all |

id imagine that Bay would use a ferrari for Rodimus. That is if such a small character (leader of the autobots) could be in the movie when Bay loves the micromasters (blackout, barricade etc) more.
Haven't seen the new movie YET but didn't Wheelie get on screen whilst Rodimus still hasn't? Oh Bay... I love ya, but damn you!! |

On both arms the pipes are twin flamethrowers. in his right hand is an 'energy saw' that can be used as a hand held weapon or throwing weapon. When not in use it would sit between his forearm and the car panels attatched to the arm. When the blades are spinning, they can excrete energy/energon (like a catherine wheel) that enables it to cut with more ease. The blades can also lock in place so that it can be used as a simple grappling hook for both modes.
Also, he has his gun/exhaust that the 'classic rodimus' figure has as I'm not very original. |

He's got missiles coming out of the rear lights that are situated on his shoulders (a nod to the rocket launchers on the g1 Wheeljack's shoulders). Plus the bonnet makes up the lower legs like g1's does and the arms make up the rear of the car.
He's also gonna have interchangeable tools that attatch above his wrist for fiddley scientific creations.
the car is a 'arash af10 2009 concept car'. |
