Yet still always looking for more... | Here's an update of what I've been working on with Prowl... still not happy with the banner but otherwise it's coming along. Still a ways to go, I'd like to do a back view and alt mode as well but at this rate those might just be pencil sketches (or cel-shaded style, that's a lot faster for me) 
As always, comments and critiques are appreciated. You folks have all been really great so far. |

#29 | | King of Hearts Join Date: Apr 2009 Posts: 103 | Wow, that is some really slick work. I second the opinion that you should enter it in the contest. It's colored pencil on toned paper, right? I've always liked stuff done in that medium. It's a really good redesign, as it's true to both the movie-style and TFA Prowl.
As for the banner, it'd probably be a pain to change at this point, except maybe digitally, but I wonder if a "holo-banner" might work a little better with the movie style.
As far as Blitzwing goes, I really can't imagine how insanity-inducing trying to make a movie triple changer with Earth alt modes might be... though it wouldn't be accurate to his G1 form, I almost wonder if making a tank-helicopter combo would be easier than the jet-tank modes. | |
