It looks great though, a lot of people's entries are lookin' pretty good.

#12 | | Plot Botherer Join Date: Mar 2009 Posts: 323 Location: Australia | I was showing it to a friend and they said that it looked more like a TF1 character than RotF. RotF had lots of new characters with different interesting and unusual shapes. TF1 had Starscream and Scorponok. 
So I tried experimenting a little; especially seeing the quality of some of the entries. I need to lift my game. I've been experimenting a bit with concepts for another version of Wheeljack, so any feedback on these is appreciated. It's very rough art since I was focused more on the concept than on quality. 
One of my friends really liked the Chibi Wheeljack, so I did him separately.  | |

Not to be mean or anything dude, but the old one just looked like G1 Wheeljack's head just plonked onto a Autobot drone's body!
Looking forward to seeing some more detail!
Oh yeah, I'd watch where you go with his hips and waist there man, the pose and physique looks slightly feminine there! | |

I won't be able to do a nicer copy before the contest closes, but I hope the design and the concept which are what count, are enough to get me through. If not, no amount of art would help I think.
Anyway, here's the redesign. I'd like to finish it off and maybe colour it regardless now that I don't have a deadline to meet!  | |
