Hey all. I was trying to figure out what to do with my Deluxe Brawl last night, since I plan to get Leader Brawl, and this idea hit me. I could turn him into a Movie Warpath. I've only done a digibash of the alt-mode so far, but, it does get the point accross. Before people start bringing up the fac that he's not red, there's a reason for that. I was going for what an actual tank would look like, and decided to go with the desert camo look. C & C are welcome, and thanks for looking.

Thanks. I've got a thread in Tech Support asking one of the mods to fix the title, which I noticed had a typo after I had submited the thread. I'm thinking about modding the arms, and possibly swap heads when I do this custom to make him more Warpath-ish, but I'm not sure exactly what I'll do in the end.

 

Aren't we slated to get desert camo Brawl in the next wave or so? Not that your idea isn't really cool (especially if you do arm & head mods) but I'd hate to see you put a lot of work in and then get dissapointed that Hasbro is giving us something similar (if anyone can find deluxes on the shelves anyway   )

 

Looks good, and you could give him copper colors for the robot mode.

 

I don't have a problem with a kinda rust-red tank thus I like your idea alot.

 

Yeah, we are, but, after looking at it's lighter tan color, I'm not too fond of the coloring of it. That and I think Warpath is more suited for a smaller tank. Also, I'd rather risk ruining a Deluxe, than a Leader Class figure for a bash, lol.

Looks good. But why not be a bit more imaginative with camouflage ?. I'd do a winter based camo-scheme ! white 'n green.

 

I thought about using some of the lesser used camo patterns, but I think that the Dessert camo fits not only this type of tank well, but also fits Warpath to a certain degree. It'll also be a nice offset against Leader Brawl once I get him. Also, it's the closest tank color to red that I know of, lol. The sad thing is that I can't figure out how to fix his arms. I don't think the nail polish trick will work, as it seems that the fit is so tight that the arms just pop right back out. I'd like to fix them, but, I also don't want to potentially ruin the figure completely.

I need to come up with something to do with my deluxe Brawl, too... It looks so tiny compared to his Leader class counterpart I have at my desk...

 

I just need to get a second SS, then I can give my deluxe Brawl some use as Blitzwing.

Was wondering when we'd see a Brawl-Warpath bash, should turn out good.

 

Small magnets   I've seen/heard some people modifying him with tiny magnes so the arms stay tight in place.

 

That has crossed my mind, but I'm not sure if it would work for this specifically. I'll look into it. In the mean time, I'm going to be figuring out any other mods I could do, like giving him different looking arms, and possibly a new head.

Cool looking, though I personally couldn't see a real tank that color, lol. Also, that's not Leader Brawl, it's the Deluxe one.

Well, you could use the search function and find out. I'm sorry, but, we bitch and moan when we don't have it during Botcon, yet when we do have it, people don't use it. That and that's another topic, which deserves a thread of it's own, which it probably already has one.

Back on-topic, I'm thinking about trying to use the extra balljoints that I'll have left over from the rake things on the front to fix the arms, though I'm going to look into those magnets before i make a decision.

 

It's like...one of the best customs I have ever seen. I know there are pics of it somewhere, but I don't have any links on hand of it.
