Well, it's certainly been a while since I've done any half-decent TF modelling (with the exception of working on Primus's excellent Blockables project); having finally found the time to put something together, I found myself inspired not by the content of the excellent Generations , but by the book itself.

I always thought that the book itself would work well if redone in the style of DW's MTMTE series, but swapping the profile art for a 3D model of the relevant toy (posed in their box-art style), and exchanging the other info for their bio and tech-specs. The mockup pages themselves are still in an embryonic state, but here's stage 1 of the first model...

    C&C always welcome!

Admittedly, the textures themselves are still a bit rough and ready (no actual bitmaps used), and I'm still looking for a decent chrome tutorial, but as soon as the page art is done, I'll get the finished images up. :D

Really nice work - I especially like the extra chest detail and the rubsign. These guys are on my list of models to make - you've set the bar high for me.

p.s. If you'd like me to contribute my toy accurate models of Laserbeak/Buzzsaw, Bombshell + Slugslinger let me know.

Not long, really - a few days in all; if anything, it was more time-consuming getting the right reference pix as I don't own either Rumble or Frenzy (more's the pity).
