I guess not many fans have got Spinister... I was kinda surprised to see him... and I've got him in my collection. Very nice one Matt.
This is actually one of my favorite L'il Formers now. Great idea and execution..... and very funny! We don't make fun of silly Transformer names enough.
This little comic strip is great. Especially for me, as I have had Spinister since my first tf collecting in childhood. The toy is simple but awesome looking and a striking color scheme. And a first transformers that changes into an Apache gunship. Clawful is also one of the best MOTU toys. Unlike Spikor who is a complete trash.
Huh? You know what? ALL these years I thought it was Spin-ster, not Spin-i-ster! A spinster is a unmarried older woman, and considering the attention the charachter got over the years,,, well I thought it was part in joke and part apathy. (writer: who do I use on this mission? I need a helicopter? Vortex? No then they'll assume that Bruticus will show up. Battletrap? But then what do I do with the Jeep? Cyclonus and Obsidian,, nope wrong continuity. Ro-tor? No he's a Go-bot. Hmmmmm,,,, well I guess I'll just use Lazerbeak, the artist likes to draw him anyway.)
