my first digibash

a decepticon i call "razorsharp"-a very quick and admittedly unimpressive digibash.
to my credit,i think,is the fact that this was done in mspaint, over 20 minutes.wanted to see what i could do without photoshop.input?worth my time to get photoshop?

i'll work up a better version when i have more time...

Photoshop is definitely worth getting. You can literally do anything you could imagine with it.

just wanted to see what mspaint was capable of,versus how much more photoshop can do.the idea was just a rodimus-style d'con.

i'd like to see someone redo this in photoshop to see how much higher quality i could accomplish.anyone?

if you get photoshop then you dont ahve to resort to lame things like inverting the colour - when you do that, all of the shadows turn white. instead you can do cool things like adjusting hue, replacing specific colours etc.. ie. jsut take an eye-dropper of teh red colour and then drag a slider to turn the red to turquise without having to affect any of the other colours.

that may have taken you 20 minutes to do in paint, but you could ahve done something like nemesis predaking's example about in about 2 minutes flat in photoshop

Photoshop is capable of recoloring ANYTHING you want

If you can imagine it, then photoshop CAN do it... BUT.. you also have to know how to use it.

Chances are, if you gave 10 people the same picture, and told them to change the color, you would probably end up with 10 slightly different looking pictures, there's so many ways you can alter the picture

It is very easy to do something wrong in it (I constantly use the un-do buttons ) but yeah, once you know whar you're doing.. its an amazing program

pretty easy to learn, everything is pretty straight forward.
