I liked how these two turned out, especially Staxx. He had a little bit of a Western lawman tilt to his personality in the show, so he's weilding dual pistols here. For Scratch, this is probably the third or fourth attempt I've made to draw him properly. I had to improvise a little with that mountaineer title, as his previous claim to fame was helping to man a turret that couldn't hit the broad side of a fleet of Thrusters.

What usually happens with these "GoBots Universe" entries is that I get a few good ones and then they start to fall a little flat. It doesn't really matter what character but Scratch was a recurring victim. Slicks (the F1 racer) and Night Ranger (the Harley motorcycle) are close to borderline. You really don't want to see Twin Spin or Good Knight (but I'll show them eventually anyway)...

Sorry about the late replies, I just got home after an 8 hour drive from RI.

Not sure I follow you exactly, to be honest, because I have a pretty consistent pattern/methodology I follow on pretty much every drawing.

Glad you like them, you know I'd still love to have a couple dozen profiles drawn by you sometime.

Well, keep practicing then! I'd like to see some of your stuff. As bad as you might think it is (and some people think my work's pretty terrible too), there could be a unique style trying to get out. While I don't feel that I'm in a position to give advice on how to get into comics, I'd be happy to offer suggestions on how you might be able to improve.
