Well, based on this small bit you definitely have the potential to be a really good comic book illustrator. Like I said earlier, you have a good handle on the human form as well as the TF and that's always refreshing. Btw, when you're done with the line work, I'd love to have the chance to take a crack at some colors, if it's not too much trouble.
no problem. i'll be coloring it when i'm done also but i could give you the hi-rez lines when i'm done. just remind me...i'm quite forgetful.
That is incredible!! I think you draw humans better than most people at IDW IMO. Your detail in everything like Prime's gun is spectacular. I could never draw close to that. You seriously should try slipping something like this under IDW's front door and you'd be hired in no time!!
Dude, your digial drawing is great. How are you doing the ink lines? In fact, what is your whole process. I DEMAND YOU TELL ME NOW!!!
LOVING this. Love the detail, the action of the poses, the cleanliness of the lines and more! I like how well you've drawn the human figures too, something people who are good at drawing Transformers seem to struggle with. I admire your inking skills. Somthing I pretty much stink at. What size is the original art?
thanx. i do everything in photoshop, but first i do a quick sketches and revisions (first few pix i posted). then i make those layers visible by like 15% or 25% and start doing the clean inks. once the inks are done i start doing the flat colors, then i start putting in the shades and highlights. once that's done the background is made. to give you a taste of what my end products look like here's a lil' something i did at the beginning of the year... thanks jon...i've been trying to draw humans ever since i can remember but it's not until the last 2 years or so that i've really delved into drawing robots and mechanical objects. drawing buildings, cars, and robots is much harder for me than drawing humans. as for the size...the full size is 2550x3300, so you can expect the end product to be that big.
wow, that is some really good drawling. I wish I could drawl like that. Keep up the good work, and I can't wait to see the final product.
Wow, i'm impressed, i can't draw for dirt, so i always like to see what others can do. keep up the work Flameshield
Oh, I never noticed..Primes wearing some sexy panties! J/K...It looks great, very nice style--It reminds me of that artist Josh Middleton or whatever his name was..
WOW..that is truly wonderful.. I might ask you to do some artwork for me... KEEP UP THE WONDERFUL WORK..to all of the artists on here!! Love, Heather
