I've been lurking on these boards for quite awhile, and seeing everyone's art has inspired me to create my own!

First up is Brawl, who transformers into an M4 Sherman tank:


His head is supposed to be a combination between Brawl's head and an M38 Rawlings tank helmet.

 

Nice.   Like the subtle touches of his design evoking a soldier's uniform.

Yes, I have the rest of the team planned out and Vortex is almost finished.

I also have an idea - add Quake to their ranks!

 

That's a good idea! And to evoke your Quake's vehicle mode and continue the World War 2 theme, I could make him a Flakpanzer IV Wirbelwind:

 

Definately a good altmode for a Quake. But you kinda forgot, that he already exist in G1 as double targetmaster.
I think that he would be better as a Combaticon.

 

Yeah, I knew he was a targetmaster, but I wanted to have an homage to your version.

 

Who's gonna have an aviator's homage?
Like, goggles, and other attributes? Vortex? Blast Off? Take-Off?

 

Take-Off will have goggles, an oxygen mask, and a leather aviator helmet. Vortex will have a Ridgeway hat, sunglasses, and headphones.

 

Hmm...how about Onslaught stylized after an officer of Starcraft Battlecruiser?
Or a German officer of WW2?

 

I think I'll go with an American General design for him, so the vehicle can be a CCKW with a M45 Quadmount on it:

 

I see... But how do you see our old friend Swindle?

 

Swindle's a hard one. For the vehicle mode, a Willys jeep would probably work the best. The robot mode is the difficult part, because capturing Swindle's character while still making him military themed is gonna be a challenge.

Next up is Vortex!
Since there were no widely used helicopters during WW2; I had to choose something from the 1950's, so he transforms into a Sikorsky H-34.
