A gigantic Starscream is interesting and ironic.

Love that Starscream, plus the fact that he's holding Megs in his gun mode.

I'm loving these head designs you're coming up with for these guys. Both movie-esque but also kind of Beast-Warsy, if that makes sense.

How bizarre, the attachment vanish. Is it working now?

Nah. First and foremost because I have that "draw a Halloween monster everyday" tradition of mine coming up. But also I haven't a clue where to even go with the Autobots, both because they're supposed to be "good" and because the command structure consists solely of Optimus Prime.

I always love seeing your reimaginings, they're always so creative, be they transformers or monsters. The art is just a great bonus. :D

Well obviously Prime is a benevolent but all-powerful ruler of a peaceful nation that the Decepticons inva- *Soundwave taptaps shoulder* er, liberate from their oppressive monarchy for the good of all, of course!

Thanks again, everybody, for the kind words!

Charged with security, Shockwave will go to any length to protect the Decepticon way. Anything that helps the cause is immediately justified for that very reason. If that means sacrificing a few freedoms, or even a few lives, then so be it. Fortunately, most Decepticons are willing to give of themselves for the greater good -- partly because they’ve been conditioned to do so, but largely because they believe themselves to be the victims in the Autobot-Decepticon conflict and thus are desparate to do something. In fact the people’s suggestions are often far more ambitious than Shockwave’s own.

Shockwave (more often his subordinates) scours battlefields for any possible benefits. Technology can be reverse-engineered, POWs can divulge enemy plans and/or be put to work (scientists are especially valuable), and casualties... an autopsy can reveal what killed them, and from there new weapons can be developed. Shockwave is obsessed with finding Autobot secrets, going so far as to “release” prisoners he stuffed with recording devices in the hope to uncover something, anything. But most of those bugged bots end up dead or drunk or lead incredibly dull lives, perhaps he needs a more proactive agent...

    _______________________
So obviously I took a very different route with Shockwave having one eye. Soundwave already has a camera for a face and I didn't want to repeat that, and I guess the Halloween spirit got the better of me.

Shockwave turns into an Avrocar, a real-life top secret military flying saucer. Besides being a screwy vehicle that raises all kinds of questions, it's also 18 feet in diameter which would put Shocky in similar stature to Megatron and Soundwave.

That Shockwave is great. I like the disfigured look on his face and that UFO mode.

What 'Con you plan to do next? :)
