When any talk of the movies comes about, there is always someone who clamors that the robots look nothing like the Transformers. Therefore, this is a "what if" set that challenges this notion with the replacement of the movie Transformers with mainly Classic figures. With the creation of a parallel film universe announced by Botcon through their DOTM Megatron, these figures fill in the remaining void of the first film.

I have toyed with this idea for a long time now, and after kaijuguy19 stated that he would like to see FOC Protoform Starscream, such an awesome idea, I could not resist this series any longer.

 

Sweet! Can't wait to see what comes out of it! Excited to see the likes of Ironhide, Barricade, & Sideswipe done classics.

 

I'll be keeping an eye on this.

 

FOC Optimus works amazingly well as Protoform Optimus. Didn't know my request for a Prototype repaint of FOC Starscream inspired you too.   Looking forward to more Classic Styled Movie repaints.

The first initial set is up, and is none other than Bumblebee, Barricade, and Frenzy. For once, Barricade is not a Prowl repaint! FIH- Frenzy is hue-less.

Starscream91, right now, I am only focusing on Movie 1 characters. However, I have the repaints for every movie planned out (its just a matter of precious time), so if I do not move beyond this film, I will at least digibash Sideswipe for you.

Love the Protoforms and Barricade. Bumblebee should be from another mold but i can understand not having much else options.

 

I love it, I would do buy that Barricade for my classics shelf. Great now I want Fun Pub to do that.

Jazz vs Brawl is now up!

 

RTS Jazz in movie colours looks beautiful on the mold.   The CW Megatron mold works perfectly for Brawl too.

 

Those are a really good looking Jazz and Barricade. I kind of want those guys now.

 

So Ironhide and Ratchet seem like they'll be tricky. Trying to think of good molds and coming up a bit short. Starscream from the Combiner Wars Seeker mold makes sense, as does reusing Prime Megatron and Optimus for their movie counterparts.

Whereas ROTF will be easy; one Autobot v. one Constructicon.

 

Leader Megs actually looks surprisingly good as Brawl

 

Oh god that Brawl and Jazz look fantastic. I'm shocked we haven't got a RTS Jazz repaint in the movie deco already?

 

Nice job on Jazz and Brawl.

 

I'm going to be curious to see how you'll be able to do AOE Optimus in his upgraded form when you get to AOE from another mold eventually.
