I've seen some amazing transformers artwork here over the past few years and thought I'd take a stab at creating some of my own.
Long Haul was my first serious attempt at creating Transformers in 3D. I started this way back in September 2005 but I didn't bother posting him until I had the rest of the team done. Which I do. So now I am.
C & C is welcome although I am painfully aware he needs a lot of work

Seems the addressed issues are with reflection. What exactly is the problem and any suggestions on fixing it? | |

About the reflection, to me, it makes the model look too smooth. Maybe lessen the reflection somewhat, and try experimenting with a low power bump map. That'll give the model's surface a different look, and it will also affect the reflection. You'll end up with a not so smooth looking model. But make sure the model looks the way you want it. Looking forward to your next TF model.

I thought about doing bump maps originally, but just went with a brand spanking new car paint instead. Bump maps will probably get worked into the version 2 models | |
