Since we haven't really seen a proper depiction of Solus in transformers fiction just yet I thought I'd take a crack at theorizing my own design for her based on the limited imagery we've had to look at and my own conceptual ideas for her. Scale wise I like the idea of the original 13 all being enormous so I made sure the hammer was more practically proportionate to her than it is the characters in tfp. New thumb for my thread:
I like it. My idea is that she turns into a Cybertronian vehicle akin to an Artillery Tractor and her forge (not just the hammer, but the rest of the workshop) turn into a trailer.
I swear when I was looking at this an hour ago there was a vehicle mode depicted. Where'd it go? Will it come back? That aside, great work on this one as usual!
It was a crap rushed sketch and since I fixed some parts of the original image I decided to remove it. I might draw her alt mode properly some other time.
Now that is awesome. Looks like you used MMC's Salvia Pominon as insperation for the colors. I approve.
Here's all my autobot fembots next to each other in my ideal scaling for them: Thinking of redrawing my SlipStream and Strika as well in similar poses/perspectives. Seems I'm kind of on this fembot-thing now. If their are any particular fembot characters people might wanna see my take on by all means I'm up for suggestions. Though I was thinking of re-imaginging Rosanna recently. I quite like Derrick Wyats design for her so I'm probably going to pull from that a bit if I do. And I really need to draw Crasher from Gobots too now that I think about it, always loved her design.
