    It's beautiful, isn't it?

    Bio: Skullgrin
    [IMG]
History: Skullgrin is a bot of few words. He was forged on the dark side of Luna 2, but after that, there are no records of where he went or what he did. He resurfaced several years ago, in charge of a small group of Mauradacons who had set up shop on a normally peaceful planet that had recently become consumed in a vicious civil war, both sides using Cybertronian technology against each other. A squad of the Legislators, a coalition of Autobots and Decepticons appointed to enforce the Tyrest accord, were sent to seize the illegally sold Cybertronian weaponry and apprehend Skullgrin's Mauradacons. Though the squad succeeded in their first task, they, along with Skullgrin's Mauradacons, were found dead and butchered deep in a lake near the now empty Mauradacon base. A bounty of 1 million credits is currently being offered to anyone who can bring Skullgrin in, dead or alive.
Personality: Despite being the quiet psycho that he is, Skullgrin is an effective tactician and is skilled at remaining calm in battle. Though he prefers to separate himself from the action in a fight, he is more than able to hold his own, and any challenge to his physical or intellectual might will not go unpunished.
Weapons: In his tank mode, Skullgrin is equipped with a small railgun. In robot mode, Skullgrin usually wields a double bladed scythe (it's kind of like his generations toy's pickaxe weapon, but with blades instead of the pointy ends).

I love these bios, especially the creativity in Sideswipe and Sixshot. Keep up the great work. :)

Thanks :)  Black Shadow's bio and bonus art will be posted later today, then i'm gonna start drawing Autobots, write bios for them, then repeat the process for the Decepticons.

Not my best drawing for the bonus art section, but...

    Bio: Black Shadow
    [IMG]
History: Black Shadow was forged, his spark taken from a hot spot on Cybertron, near the Manganese Mountains. Though he was a Point One Percenter, a loadbearer to be precise, Black Shadow was constantly mocked for his small stature, and the fact that the Functionists of Tetrahex assigned him the job of "courier" didn't help. Sick and tired of what his daily life amounted to, Black Shadow finally had an opportunity to escape it all when the Decepticons attacked Tetrahex during the Great Reformation. As the Decepticon forces pushed towards the city's weapons testing facility, Black Shadow took advantage of the confusion, breaking into the facility with the intention of selling its contents on the black market, then using the funds to purchase a spark transfer to a more imposing body. What he found was much better. After taking the prototype photon charge rifle he still carries today, Black Shadow blasted his way through the guards in the facility (who were armed with standard weapons. Seriously, Functionist council? You're that cheap?) , picking up a few small but deadly-looking weapons as he went, until he stumbled upon the DX-00 Executioner armor. Having finally found the answer to all his life's problems, Black Shadow immediately put on the armor, and soon left Tetrahex in ruins, unleashing all the anger and rage that he had allowed to build within him for years upon the combatants from both sides, before slowly and surely picking off each and every person who had ever insulted him one by one. Free at last from the demeaning tedium of his daily life, Black Shadow quickly became notorious in the criminal underworld for his exploits, and was one of the Mauradacons' founding members. To this day, few are willing to oppose the Butcher of Tetrahex, and those who do often are left as smears on the wall, though some survive to live happy, peaceful lives in the intensive care unit.
Personality: Black Shadow is an ambitious, egotistic bot. His flagship, the Dark Blade, is decorated in rare and exotic jewels, and he has a throne constructed out of pure electrum, with decorative ruby-quartz insets, so that he may show his wealth to all who enter. If someone crosses him, he will hold a grudge and never let it go until he has exacted his revenge, or gotten appropriate compensation.
Weapons: Black Shadow wears the DX-00 Executioner armor, which can transform into a jet mode, and amplifies Black Shadow's strength by a thousandfold, at the cost of speed. The armor is equipped with Decimator missiles that can disintegrate most materials within a 10 meter radius of their impact site, though the armor can only hold a payload of ten such missiles before having to resupply, and the missiles are naturally very expensive, so Black Shadow rarely uses them. The armor also comes equipped with a stealth field, allowing Black Shadow to disappear from sight at will while wearing it. The armor also contains a smaller set of armor which is only slightly larger than the average bot, and this armor can also transform into a jet, and is equipped with a stealth field generator. The larger set of armor can be controlled remotely, albeit it's a bit sluggish in responding to commands. In jet mode, both sets of armor have rapid fire laser cannons, and the larger armor can use the Decimator missiles. Black Shadow also carries a prototype photon charge rifle.

The Autobots are going to get drawn and receive bios soon. For the Autobots and Decepticons I'll usually just give them a bio when I first post their picture, but sometimes I'll hold off and add some bonus art for them.
I'm gonna hold off on revealing names ahead of time for these guys, though. Mainly because I'm still deciding on exactly who the 5-6 Autobots will be (trying to keep things balanced right now)

    Bio: Prowl
    [IMG]
History: Prowl's pricktitude is legendary. Commander of Autobot Spec Ops, Prowl's involvement has led to some of the most devastating Decepticon defeats. Though this would normally lead to respect and popularity, Prowl's methods are...questionable, to say the least. For Prowl, the ends justify the means, and if sacrificing an entire battalion of Autobots wins an important battle, then Prowl will jump on the opportunity. He's been known to disobey orders and lie to his superiors, including but not limited to Optimus Prime himself, if he believes that doing so has some benefit the Autobots. Though he has shown regret over some of his more costly actions, this regret rarely lasts long. After all, he's doing this for the good of Cybertron.
Personality: Prowl is a prick. Though normally calm and collected, when angry he's been known to flip nearby desks and beat the source of his frustration with a chair, even when doing so will accomplish nothing. Prowl once smacked a chair against a piece of paper describing how much the writer hated him for 6 straight hours. During such times, it is usually best to avoid Prowl, or one risks becoming another target.
Weapons: Prowl normally wields a standard laser rifle. He also usually wears specially made armor that does not require a loadbearer spark to operate. The armor increases his size and strength while offering protection, and gives him access to two shoulder mounted heavy chain guns. Though technically not a weapon, his head crest flips over his eyes to offer them protection during battle, as well as give Prowl a tactical HUD.

Warning: VERY LONG POST. But lot's of pictures :)  well, six pictures.

    Bio: Swindle
    [IMG]
History: A skilled field medic for the Decepticons during the Great Reformation, Swindle fought to free Cybertron from its corrupt government. During the Reformation, Swindle was a part of the Combaticons, an elite group of soldiers with the ability to combine into the mighty Bruticus, though he never got along with Brawl or Vortex, believing (correctly) that they were simply using the Decepticon movement as a convenient excuse to inflict pain. After the Decepticons dissolved, having accomplished their objective of removing both the Senate and the Functionist Council from power, Swindle opened up a combination shop/clinic in Helex. One day, two goons from the New Decepticon army, now a collection of thugs and would-be conquerors, came to “convince” Swindle to join. Refusing their offer, he delivered the bodies of the thugs to the Autobot headquarters in the city a few minutes later. When the Decepticons attacked Helex, Swindle helped to defend his home city, though the Autobots were eventually driven out, and Swindle along with them. Joining the Autobots in an official capacity, he currently serves alongside his former commander Onslaught in the Commandos.
Personality: Swindle is an honest, caring person first and foremost, and a salesman second. He enjoys the profit he makes as a merchant, though he consistently puts the needs of others over his own. He does not approve of violence for the sake of violence, but he is a more than capable combatant, and is willing to fight if he feels it is necessary.
Weapons: Swindle is equipped with a three-setting arc bolt projector. The first setting, “recharge,” allows Swindle to recharge allies during battle. The other two settings are “stun” and “kill.”

    Bio: Onslaught
    [IMG]
History: A staunch promoter of freedom of choice and speech, as well as a hardline patriot, Onslaught fought against the Senate and Functionist Council as part of the Decepticons to rid the population of a corrupt government. After the end of the Great Reformation, Onslaught joined the Autobot Elite Guard to ensure the freedom he fought for remained protected. When the New Decepticon army was formed, Onslaught was disgusted by their use of a name and symbol that once stood for freedom to represent their faction of terrorists and thugs. As part of the Commandos, Onslaught works to rid Cybertron of these “scum-born pretenders,” and uphold the government he helped to create.
Personality: Onslaught is an advocate of freedom and a hardline patriot. He is a skilled tactician, and an advocate of leading by example and he doesn’t expect anyone under his command to do anything he isn’t willing to.
Weapons: Two shoulder mounted AA guns and a sonic pulse rifle.

    Bio: Powerglide
    [IMG]
History: Powerglide was constructed cold only a month or two before the current conflicts. Despite his relative youth, he quickly distinguished himself as a top aerial fighter, and as such was modified and assigned to serve as part of the Commandos, who at the time had only ground based bots. Decepticons have learned to duck and cover when Powerglide’s around.
Personality: Powerglide’s an impulsive bot who tends to prefer the air over the ground. He also has a tendency to say “And away we go!” right before he lifts off or when he blasts someone with a missile, mainly because both involve someone flying.
Weapons: Powerglide is equipped with two missile launchers that he can use in both robot and jet mode. The missiles fired from these launchers have a small explosives radius, but are very fast and have a very powerful impact, and their simplicity means they are able to be quickly manufactured by the launchers in an infinite supply. Powerglide also has a long range thermal beam projector in the nosecone of his jet mode, which he can, in theory, use in robot mode. The main problem with using it in robot mode is that the nose cone of the jet is the top of his head, so he can’t see what he’s shooting if he uses it.

    Bio: Warpath
    [IMG]
History: The hyperactive Warpath has shown great aptitude in the use of explosive weaponry in the short time he’s been online. Despite his bulky frame, he constantly tries to accomplish acrobatic feats when simply running or even just standing still would be enough, obviously going for style. The end result is that he often ends up face down in the dirt for a few seconds while he recovers from his failed stunt.
Personality: Warpath is hyperactive, reckless, and a bit of a show off. He tends to make profound and eloquent statements during battle, such as “POW!”, “BAM!”, and “BOOM!”
Weapons: Warpath has a chest mounted mortar cannon that becomes the main gun of his tank mode, an arm mounted pulse blaster on his right arm, and a very large fist on his left arm. He also carries quite a few grenades, most of them dangerous types, such as frag grenades and incendiary grenades.

    Bio: Waverider
    [IMG]
History: Waverider was off planet for the Great Reformation. When he came back home four months before the current conflicts, we was shocked at how much had changed. Having been a part of the Primal Vanguard before, he joined the Autobot Elite Guard. When the Great War started, he was assigned to the Commandos after several battles.
Personality: Waverider is normally peaceful, but on the battlefield he can be one of the fiercest warriors the Autobots have. No one knows why, and he’s been checked out by a certain psychiatrist (Ring? Rang?) multiple times, and is confirmed not to have multiple personalities. Oh, and he likes surfing.
Weapons: Waverider has a torpedo cannon in both robot and submarine/hovercraft modes, and typically carries a handheld grenade launcher.

    Bio: Bruticus
    [IMG]
History: Bruticus was created during the Great Reformation. The combined form of the Combaticons, he was crucial in the liberation of Iacon from the hands of the Functionists, though his victory party was unappreciated, as many felt the Senate building could still serve some purpose. He did not combine again for many years, as his components went their separate ways. When he finally recombined, three new components had taken the place of the old, and Bruticus was an Autobot. At this point, most of the Decepticons who had been fighting the Commandos decided to turn round and run.
Personality: Bruticus’s personality, like that of most gestalts, is a fusion of those of his components. Great Reformation Bruticus followed orders, but often went on berserk rages, and as such did not see much action. Great War Bruticus, however, is careful about what he blows up, and is capable of following more complex strategies, though he’s much more impulsive.
Weapons: Rather than relist all the weapons of his components, we’ll just say he has all the integrated weapons of his components, though some are awkwardly located. Bruticus also has great size and strength, and is nearly unstoppable.

I love the idea of an Autobot Bruticus and the fact you used Waverider of all guys. There's some great creativity in these bios.

    Continue the good work. :thumb

Thanks! I'm gonna be posting two or three Decepticons today. I've also been drawing up the first chapter of the comic.

Still haven't decided on a title though....right now it's under the working title of Transformers: Moonage, because Moonage Daydream is one of my favorite songs of all time.

    Bio: Brawl
    [IMG]
History: During the Great Reformation, Brawl joined the Decepticons for a chance to beat the crap out of some people. His battle prowess got him assigned to the Combaticons, though his teammates Swindle and Onslaught were constantly wary of him. When the Reformation ended, Brawl was left with no outlet for his boundless rage, though he quickly found one in the slums of Kaon. When the Decepticons were reforged under the leadership of Galvatron, Brawl quickly joined the new collection of conquerors. Galvatron quickly assigned Brawl to be leader of the Combaticons, and, after a quick blow to Brawl's head and a large data implant, remedied Brawl's lack of any tactical knowledge. Armed to the teeth and leading a team of similarly armed Decepticons, Brawl is ready to show the world exactly what he's capable of. Which involves a lot of craters and broken bodies.
Personality: Despite his new-found tactical knowledge, Brawl is still a berserk rage machine. His plans often involve different methods of charging into battle, guns blazing...not that anyone complains.
Weapons: Brawl has enough guns to qualify as a mobile artillery platform. In addition to his main tank gun, which launches artillery shells and ends up on his back in robot mode, he has twin scrapmaker miniguns integrated into his arms. The scrapmakers can turn into hands, but it's Brawl. Do you think they'll be hands often? And in a moment of pure stu-...genius, Brawl has been granted four large missile launchers which end up on his shoulders in robot mode.

Thanks! I don't intend for the Mauradacons to be able to combine...at least, not all of them ;)

Anyway, here's a panel from the prologue portion of the comic

    Isn't it just Prime? :lol

Thanks! I can't wait either :D  The prologue's main purpose will be to give the readers some more prior knowledge of the universe, because I don't wanna just shove them right into scene one with no background. I can imagine some people might end up thinking the Mauradacons are just a division of Decepticons if they hadn't seen this thread or the ad I put in the funnies advertising thread.

    Bio: Mega Octane
    [IMG]
History: Mega Octane was constructed to be part of Brawl's Combaticons. He's been placed as second in command due to his tactical expertise (I think the phrase "tactical expertise" might end up being a frvrism :lol ). He was modeled after Onslaught to save Scalpel and Magnificus some work, though they still made some important modifications to him.
Personality: Mega Octane enjoys war, because it allows him to draw up huge battle plans often. Brawl has given him the position of main strategist of the Combaticons, and lets him do most of the administrative work and actual leading, because in the end, no amount of knowledge implants can change the fact that Brawl is Brawl. Mega Octane is a skilled combatant, but tends to keep calm during battle, rather than going on berserk rages like a certain someone.
Weapons: Twin shoulder-mounted shell cannons, an arm mounted high pressure fuel pump on his right arm, and an arm mounted flamethrower on his left arm

...y'know...he kinda looks like him. But nah, he's just another generic, bit bulkier than the others, modeled after Cybertron Crumplezone and the TF2 Heavy. He turns into a van one might paint white, before painting the words "free candy" on it.

But now I wanna draw Apeface :D
