Transformers RID: Return to Cybertron This AU would take place some time after the season 2 finale. After witnessing the defeat of Devil Gigatron, Unicron decides to upgrade Bruticus into his Universe 2.0 self, and put him in charge of the Predacons. As an extra incentive, he gives Gas Skunk, Slapper, and Dark Scream dragon forms, and upgrades Sky-Byte into his Generations self. The Autobots once again band together to stop this new foe. Meanwhile, Scourge and the Commandos decide to take their leave while the Autobots have their hands full with Bruticus. They decide to go to Cybertron, a planet that they have dreamed over as they hear the stories of its mechanized glory, and set up a Decepticon colony. But the Commandos absence from Earth does not go undetected, and an Autobot Patrol is sent in pursuit of these dastardly 'cons. Wave 1: 1. Mirage and Ironhide 2. Hot Shot and REV 3. Ooh, I've got an idea for a set. How about an Anniversary set featuring one Transformer from every series, much in the same vein as Highlander?
I'm hoping Scourge is the Generations Orion Pax mold or the WFC Optimus mold. X-Brawn and Spychangers? There's a lack of good F1 molds to use... Ironhide from Generations Trailcutter, Crosswise from Knock Out, Hot Shot from Generations Bumblebee, W.A.R.S. from Cliffjumper(?), R.E.V. from the Vehicon? Mirage from Smokescreen? X-Brawn is also one I'm stumped with. EDIT: X-Brawn from Roadbuster with Sideburn from Smokescreen and Prowl from Wheeljack.
I may need to change my wording, in my original post as I there has been a miscommunication. I'm carrying over the Spychangers, X-Brawn, and Scourage that I did for a Botcon set idea. The link is at the bottom of my initial post.
I actually got 3 extra foc brutici so I could custom up a RID ruination, Battle Gaia and a TurboMaster(the euro exclusive action master with bruticus elements) But other projects got in the way and then I lost steam... This digi makes me want to jump back in!!
RID Ruination is like one of those no-brainer ideas that BotCon really should have done by now. It would have been an easy box set to sell. It would have been cheap being only 5 deluxes. Requires zero remolding. And it is a complete set of figures much like the very popular Animated Stunticons. It baffles me why they never did it. Aside from the fact that the FOC Bruticus mold is thought to be pretty bad. Particularly Onslaught. But hey, that's what 3rd parties are for.
Fire Convoy and T-AI: Fire Convoy leads the Autobot Patrol as Ultra Magnus manages the Autobots on Earth. Ever since the battle with Devil Gigatron, Convoy has lost the ability to utilize his upgrades; his battle station armor is offline and his combination core is severely fractured. He has done his best to outfit his new form with an arsenal with capabilities prepared to level the Decepticons. T-AI has downloaded herself into a mobile mech that will enable her to aid the Autobots on their mission. She has the intellect and hacking abilities to guide the Autobots through their course on the surface of the decaying Cybertron. She hopes to avenge her father, Teletran-1, by establishing her consciousness throughout Cybertron, and accessing her father's back-up drives which house all of Cybertron's secrets.
Tow-line vs Skyfire: Tow-Line struggles to operate when on Cybertron. There, all of the streets are covered with rubble; debris laying were it ought not lay. There may not be any cars to tow away, but this debris is a direct violation of traffic ordinances. But he cannot focus on such matters now, but like an addiction, he is unable to resist clearing a path for legal parking- even if it is in the middle of a war zone. Skyfire was once one of Megatron's most loyal subjects. But after his master's defeat, he began seeing with a clearer lens. He started to see that Scourge was truly the one that kept things afloat while Megatron was leading, and that he is the light that is going to illuminate the path to victory for the Decepticons.
Skid-Z vs Wind Sheer Skid-Z was quick to volunteer for the Cybertron mission. He wants to return to his home world to see if he is able to further purge himself of the psychic energy of the racer that he scanned when choosing his vehicle form. This mission is also a chance for him to make up lost time when he was remotely absent from the Autobot cause on Earth as he was constantly searching for the next race. Wind Sheer takes arrogance to an entirely new level, especially for a Decepticon. After his failure to retrieve an O-Part, he is motivated now more than every to pull off a grand elaborate scheme to enamor his peers. Although he is boastful and confident in one of his recently crafted plans to destroy the Autobots, he does not understand why the other Decepticons run in fear when he invites them to join the frenzy.
