Transformers Energon Episode 07 - Megatron Raid Summary

Plains City lies in ruins. The dust from the massacre that just took place is still settling. Hot Shot lies on the ground, his right arm torn from his body, lying twitching amid the devastation. And standing at the heart of it all, the reborn Emperor of Destruction - Megatron!
A tense standoff occurs between the two sides. Realising how outgunned he is, Optimus calls for retreat. The Autobots object, but with Hot Shot badly wounded they have no choice.
In a nebula deep in space, the head of Unicron drifts slowly. Within, Alpha Q gathers all the Energon he has left, focusing it on a glowing ball. The ball grows and takes shape as a familiar looking warrior - Starscream!
At Ocean City, Hot Shot is placed into a tank of liquified Energon to heal, and the damaged parts begin to grow back - it's a little like a Cybertronian Bacta Tank. Meanwhile, Signal Flare shows Optimus the plans he made of the Megatron Sword, and Optimus commissions mass construction of replica swords. He also asks about Demolishor, who is stood on guard outside the city.
In space, Megatron orders the Terrorcons to deploy the Energon and repair Unicron. Like Hot Shot, panels grow themselves back through the power of Energon. One Divebomb flies up to Megatron and gives him a gift of an Energon Star, surprising Megatron. Within Unicron, Scorponok is under repairs, which seem to be extremely painful for him. Tidal Wave arrives to check up on Scorponok. Scorponok asks why Megatron didn't kill Optimus while he had the chance. Tidal Wave responds that when Scorponok works that out for himself, he'll be able to trust him (Tidal Wave comes across a little more intelligent than usual here).
On Earth, production of the swords is in full swing. Kicker asks Jetfire why the Omnicons do waht they do, and Jetfire explains that it is their purpose, that they are doing what they were meant for. Outside, Demolishor looks upon his reflection and his Decepticon sigil and questions who he really is.
At that moment, a warpgate is detected. Jetfire gets ready to head out, and invites Kicker along, but Optimus refuses to let him go, saying it is too dangerous now Megatron has returned and sending Kicker to the control room, to oversee things from there. Jetfire blasts off, with Optimus in supermode and Ironhide remaining near the city as backup. Jetfire flies to the warpgate location and finds nothing, but as he turns back something shoots past him, barely visible.
The skies grow dark and rain begins to fall. Inferno detects a second warpgate directly above the city. A huge fleet of Terrorcons come through. Optimus and Ironhide stand ready, but then Starscream emerges right behind Optimus and hits him with his sword, damaging Prime. Ironhide whirls around to check on his commander, as the Terrorcons open fire. Ironhide's Energon Star generates a shield that protects him from harm, but the battle is truly joined! Optimus and Starscream duel, with Starscream warping out each time before Optimus even gets close to landing a hit on him.
Below, Demolishor blasts a wave of Terrorcons, but at that moment (heralded by a very fitting piece of music) Megatron appears! Jetfire tells Kicker about the mysterious unit that zoomed past him earlier (Starscream) as he flies back to the city, while above, Starscream teleports behind Optimus and lands a critical blow on his back!
Megatron confronts Demolishor and plays mind games with him. Ironhide arrives, but Demolishor punches him out to stop him from trying to fight Megatron. Megatron's mindgames resume, with him first demanding Demolishor open the door he has been guarding the last few years, then telling him to open fire on him if he has become an enemy.
Meanwhile, Optimus and Starscream are still fighting, but thanks to Kicker's enhanced perceptions Optimus is finally able to get the drop on Starscream, slamming him in the face followed by a kick from his drill leg. Starscream retreats.
Below, Demolishor snaps and blows the door open. Megatron tells him to never entertain the idea of disobeying him again. At that moment, Optimus confronts Megatron.
Terrorcons invade the city. Kicker snatches up his helmet and goes to do what he can, and is handed a Megatron Clone Sword by Strongarm, which Kicker uses to slice a pair of Battle Ravages in half. In the med bay, Inferno fights off Battle Ravages, but they overwhelm him. At that moment Hot Shot reactivates and smashes the tank he is in, the wave of Energon scattering the Terrorcons. Hot Shot gives Inferno the thumbs up and joins the battle, healed at last.
Outside, Optimus narrowly dodges Megatron's sword. Just then, Kicker arrives and throws Optimus the Clone Sword, which Optimus uses to resume the battle with Megatron on an even footing. After their initial strike causes the murky water beneath them to part, they take to the air briefly, before Megatron lands and Optimus flies down and slams into him. At that moment, a panicked Cyclonus runs to Megatron's side, pursued by Hot Shot, who also has a Clone Sword. Demolishor on the other side backs away from PL Ironhide, who also wields a Clone Sword. Inferno, Kicker, and the Omnicons all arrive, each one wielding a Clone Sword (just how many did the Omnicons make?). Surrounded by a whole force of sword-wielding Autobots, Megatron grabs the Energon from his shoulder, burning his hand in the process. The Energon creates a field around the Decepticons, before it disappears into a warpgate.
The episode concludes with Optimus musing over Demolishor's fate. They had tried to change him, but in the end, he was still a Decepticon. As Optimus speaks, Starscream fazes in not far from the city and laughs.
