Might be just me, but dropping off the stuff at your house sounds like some type of opportunity for home invasion.

DECEPTICONS, ATTACK!

honestly i seriously doubt someone would drive all across country to steal something back or rob your house. more than likely i bet theyd meet at a public place to avoid being robbed themselves. theyd have more to lose than the buyer because the buyer would be protected by ebay/paypal so monies wouldnt be released until the buyer leaves positive feedback. Thats prolly why theyre offering a refund on spot if u dont like it and would probably expect the buyer to leave postive feedback on the spot so they can get paid and move on. how did a seller providing a positive and fair transaction atmosphere turn into a home invasion?.......

it is incredibly unlikely somebody will start a high-profile ebay auction then drive accross the country just to try and get into the winning bidder's house when he knows they're definately going to be there. Why on earth would s/he bother when there are plenty of houses to invade that don't involve a ludicrously complex plan.

the seller is far more likely to be robbed themself by offering personal delivery of a few thousand dollars worth of toys, and even then, what sort of hardened criminals rob ebayers of their MSIB action figures at the roadside ffs?
