The majority here will pick this custom apart, citing minimal paint apps and not enough originality(i.e. head sculpts). I for one say this is one of the most well-exectuted of the custom combiners I've seen yet, for the same reasons others will ridicule it. Very well done, whoever did it.

Brilliant use of Cybertron Metroplex's legs as well

I dunno, i always envisioned Bruticus to be taller. Maybe it's just the pics, but he looks way too...wide. Not digging the combined mode head.

I love how this guy still says Blast Off transforms into a space shuttle. Still, good custom.

EDIT: The chest piece is a FORCE SIlHOUETTE! That makes it automatically awesome. j/k
Ah yeah, i'm back, (been for a few days now) and i haz awesome haul posted in Toyark! Check it out... If you dare...

And, I finished my first comic strip!

I agree...I like the minimal paint apps, much better for military use any way. And for head sculpts, oh well, they look fine as they are. Clever use of the cannon parts for use in Bruticus mode.

I love it. Gestalt mode is weak, too bulky, looks like a giant midget. I echo the comment about the heads, if you're going to put this amount of work into a custom, heads can be swapped in under a few hours.

Very cleaver way to integrate LDR prime and C Metroplex and doubling his legs for the combined form. Looks to me they go off to the side for Onslaught's robot mode, yet I think Prime is big and looking odd enough that they could have been somehow attached to his back. Also not too fond of how the leg bots simply clip on top of those metroplex legs like armor rather than being the actual legs.

All in all, a fresh new take on combiners fo sure

I like it alot some things could change but it has a great feel to it.Very G1ish.He gave it that old military feel with the paint apps could done some black on onslaughts front grill. But he used the figures very well to make it look modern yet classics too.I would give this guy a 9 for sure just for the sheer efort it takes to put into one.Since it is all a trial and error thing as everyone knows.Maybe the next one will come out even better or give him an idea of something else.hell maybe everyone can swap ideas with him and he'll have an idea of what people like.Hell, invite the guy to come over and join us!The more the merrier!
