I think it appears so. the key port is still there, and there seems to be something bulging just behind the hook. Although since it would be sorta out of chracter for Grapple to have the saw (indeed, it's now on the back rather then the arm), and F_R doesn't mention the key gimmick, it also seems likley he removed it.
