I didn't know that either.. I know that it was a fake mostly by the tech specs on the back being a different color and brighter.. originals were more muted

Yes.

People usually use the packaging to identify the bootlegs since the flaws are more visible and widely known than the figure's flaws/differences.

And here's another seller who tries to pull some leg off of the newbe collectors amongst us.
-GNAW (claims it's original, NOT KO) 200 BIN
-GRIMLOCK sold for 125
-MINIBOTS sold for 250
-BLUESTREAK KO box + insert, sold for 100
-WHEELJACK no acc. KO box + insert, sold for 150
-OPTIMUS PRIME sold for 125
He also sold the KO insecticons for 90 each.
Just browse through his feedback, you'll see.
I hate these guys keeping shady about they don't know if it's repro or not.
There's not 1 single genuine TF he's sold. And for the Gnaw he claims it's original, not KO or reissue. yeah right!

BTW: Can't we make a sticky "Here's another bad KO seller" thread?

I like how he says the insecticons are prerub. They were year two releases and had rubsigns. They never didn't have rub signs. I hate KOs.
