Can a moderator please "sticky" this thread to the top of this forum. like mods stickied the bad sellers thread on the top of this forum.

to warn potential ebay sellers of the bad ebay buyers.

ebay buyers are taking advantage of the ebay system & some are trying to get extra things from buyers. because sellers can't leave negative feedback anymore. only buyers can leave negative feedback.

I contribute a lot to the Bad Seller thread. I will do what I can to help this thread too.
ngtpanthereb did not pay for an auction he won from me. Waited three weeks and then tried going through ebay who closed the case as unpaid very quickly. I guess the guy had no intention of buying.

Annaross77 is a royal pain in my butt. Buyer paid right away but failed to read my auction details. I state clearly that my handling time is up to 10 days from receiving cleared payment. I try not to take that long, but sometimes, life gets in the way. In this case, a Holiday weekend (read: Post Office closures), a trip out of state and some Doctor appointments got in the way. Buyer opened a dispute while I was in the post office shipping their item (before my 10 day handling time was up). I come home, see the dispute, send a tracking number, apologize for the delay, and ask that the buyer kindly close the case. Buyer instead breaks out into rants covered in insults, profanity, and finally threats involving my home address and "letting me know what I really think of you". I've since added them to my blocked buyers list, but what with the great Ebay's unbalanced buyer/seller protection policies, I have not been able to get the case closed, despite the tracking information clearly stating the item has been delivered. The buyer, for their part, wants to leave the case open as long as possible out of spite.

What you can do is add the tracking number to this item in the order details. Also add it to the dispute and to the paypal payment. then contact ebay and or Paypal and let them know that you entered the tracking number. They should then close the case. Also the emails he has sent to you with threats I would forward to ebay. they will not allow this type of behavior and if you get a neg it may help you get it removed. I hope this helps!

xinfei163 Bought a Jetfire off of me that was still factory sealed. the tape came loose from the side of the box but he had never been removed. the tape was still holding him down in the the tray. I described this in my listing and ran it at auction. This member emails me telling me that the tape was not sealed. I referred him to the listing where it states that. He demanded 100.00 of his money back or would leave a neg. I took the neg. I do fix something if it is my fault but will not be threatened over feedback

xinfei163 bought a 2007 Botcon Games of Deception set from me. He Complained my shipping prices were too high even though I charged actual shipping and requested that I list the value as $100 on the customs form. He claims the box arrived damaged and was looking for a partial refund. I told him he had chosen not too pay for additional insurance and that b/c of the custom's amount it was only insured for $87. @$$ left me neutral feedback. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

I need to add the username of CITITANK to the list of bad buyers. Actually, this guy should go under the list of worst buyers of all time.

He bought my beautiful, minty boxed G1 Roadbuster from me, which I then shipped out to him in China. About 3 weeks later he starts a Paypal claim against me for 'item not received'. I thought this was a bit early for this, so not panicking just yet, I contributed to the case with photos of the proof of postage from my post office clearly showing his name and address and the date it was sent etc. I advised that that since he requested the cheapest method of international shipping it could take over a month for the parcel to arrive, especially factoring in potential customs intervention. At that stage I was just hoping he would end the case once he received the Roadbuster.

He never, ever replied to the dispute. I tried contacting him but no response. He just opened the dispute and sat there waiting for Paypal to find in his favour. Which of course they eventually did about 6 weeks after the item was shipped.

I mean, they always do right? Buyer protection and all that shit. What about seller protection from conmen like this?

This guy just cost me £280 plus £38 shipping! I provided proof of postage, yet he ends up with my money AND the Roadbuster as well in all likelihood, as I definitiely sent it.

So from now on, I only have 2 pieces of advice for everyone who reads this: NEVER sell anything on eBay to a Chinese seller named CITITANK and ALWAYS send everything overseas by a trackable shipping service. It may cost more and your buyers might not like it, but at least you won't get brutally screwed by some *&%$.

People have buyers remorse and then instead of trying to work the problem out they proceed to screw you.

masterbet77 from spain. He bought a TRU reissue Insecticons set and a Rodimus major both MIB from me. Paid on 11/20 shipped on 11/22, files a dispute AND claim on 11/26 saying he didnt receive the items. 4 days to ship first class to Spain hahaha. Then never once responds to the claim, my emails, or the customs and tracking info. Customs form # info says delivered but Paypal gives him his money back...WTF. Guy is a Dirtbag.

raul98z28 doesnt pay, he's done it to other people before apparently because he has posi feedback with negative comments about non-payment.

Seems like so many people are buying and not paying it's getting ridiculous.

This is exactly the crap i was ranting about earlier...

add this buyer lisaloveskelly2008 to your avoid list.

item # 180580495431 sold a brand new never transformed ROTF sideswipe for $12 ...

buyer left a positive feedback saying everything was fine....then late tonite ...about an hour ago...

Hello - I just gave this item as a gift to my son, and when we transformed it, it broke in half. It is unfixable. Is there a way that we can resolve this issue? I really appreciate your help. Thanks, Lisa

i told her no...nothing can be done from my end...your kid broke the toy playing with it...

another example of folks wanting to get stuff for free.

You all can check out the feedback that she left...by viewing the item number listed...
here is a copy and paste...

Product as advertised; fast shipping. Thanks!

tired of buyers pulling crap like this...buyer's remorse...johnny did not like the toy they bought..whatever the excuse of the minute is today....

Just keep the emails she sent to you about her giving it to her son and he broke it. I dont see this being a problem(or your problem), and I would tell her to go pack sand.

Just to add a miserable epilogue to my tale of woe...

I made a claim with Parcelforce as I actually purchased insurance when sending the parcel. They sent me a letter back the other day advising that after conducting investigations into the matter, they can confirm that my parcel WAS delivered!
I immediately got on the phone to Paypal and sent them a scan of the letter from Parcelforce in order to appeal the claim.
They basically told me to shove it as more than 10 days had passed since I lost my dispute case and, furthermore, all claims of over £150 need a signature from the buyer!

So, just to very strongly reiterate what G1_Cindersaur said, never ever EVER send overseas for eBay sales without a tracking number. AND always buy insurance. AND make any claims you might need to immediately.

Man if I ever met the guy who did this...

another example of what i was talking about....

I have customers all the time ebay message me about sending 1st class international...will only cost$15 for padded envelope...

Con men everyone of them waiting for a sucker to fall for that one...

I have had people lie directly to me on the phone(i have called several in the past to argue about packages not being delivered)...this was when folks are stupid enough to file a claim with ebay saying package not received and the tracking shows they have indeed had it delivered.

I did get burned once on the signature receipt recquirement over $250 rule...sent something to someone in Canada...UPS ground....had it send standard none signature requirement ....the buyer filed a non receipt claim...had to physically call ebay support and have the rep in ebay run the tracking # and read the line where it said they delivered the package and COLLECTED the VAT charges....

told the ebay drone if they got money from someone at the residence they damned well handed them the package....ebay actually let me win that one...

i am not trying to sound like the bitter jaded old man on those B movies...it is just ebay knows they are the only game in town...and they do not give a shit about anyone except making $$$

And i am done with getting screwed by buyers trying to get shit for free....so EMS shipping for international and signatures for $250 or higher....

you might lose some customers...but it will save you from losing your transformers and $$ to a scam artist...
