I thought eBay now prohibited the selling of pre-orders. Am I wrong about that?

Unless the policy changed with the recent wave of changes, pre-sales are allowed with the some limitations, such as shipment within 30 days (http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/pre-sale.html).
