Just to clarify, or put in place in case it wasn't clear before:

In relation to discussing sales and transactions you've had with sellers or buyers on ebay (or anywhere else)...

Do not post personal home addresses to a seller or buyer that you have from a personal transaction with them in public.

Do not ask other users for personal home addresses to a seller or buyer that you have from a personal transaction with them in public.

Comments must be kept FACTUAL, based on PERSONAL EXPERIENCE.

Please do not post comments saying "yeah i heard this person is a good guy, but I've never done business with them" or "yeah I heard this guy ripped off another user, but I've never done business with them". Let the other user who had the experience comment on it directly.

If you see something being posted about a seller or buyer, and remember that another user here on the boards had an experience, link to his original thread (use search) or, PM the user and ask him to make another comment in the new discussion about said buyer/seller. But DO NOT comment on it yourself.

As in all interaction between members, do NOT personally attack them. Example: You are such a/so/a/ _______ . Anything you put there that is not positive IS NOT ALLOWED. Generally. Use that as a reference if you don't know what is acceptable.

Again, key focus here is that we should be keeping this non-personal while going back and forth, and based on personal experience. No hearsay or possibilities.

    Thanks.

Is there a restriction, for new members, on posting links (of any kind) to eBay items?

Is there a place for eBay questions?
I just bought something a few days ago, and now I see they are listed as away till the 1st of March.

I was wondering how long eBay and PayPal buyer protection lasts. And should I give them this time? I may have no choice?

Hey. I'm completely new here - this is literally my first post. So is the "on eBay" board just for talking about purchases? Advertising? Just giving other people the heads-up? I just started doing some customs, and selling them - but I don't want to accidentally break any etiquette. I may just not have found the right page yet. Any advice would be genuinely appreciated - I like like meeting new people anyway. Thank you!
