Leader Class Optimus Prime Custom
Ive repainted the leader class figure of prime and thrown it on ebay if anyone fancies having a look!

ive repainted him to resemble the movie prime in better detail, ive put the arms on the right way round (d'oh hasbro!).

used humbrol enamel paints and matt varnished it, im pretty proud of it!

Why are the arms switched? Doesn't that make it not fit aymore in Car mode?

he reversed the elbow joints so the screw is not out in plain sight.

The arms were originally attached back to front, the circular blue/gold elbow joint was facing IN to primes body on each arm when they should be facing out.

it doesnt affect the operation of the toy at all since the arms both pivot both ways, and theyre essentially exactly the same whichever way round they go, theyre now just on the right way for it to look proper. it transforms the same as it would normally.

So I'm guessing it doesn't fit in truck mode... The arms form the back part of the cab I just don't see how it will fit if you switched the arms. If I'm wrong then I apologize.

hello! no problem man, heres a pic of the figure in truck mode, it fits completely fine. the arms are pretty much exactly the same, except there is a left and a right, the fittings where it joins to the body and the joints to the lower arms are exactly the same no matter what side the arm is on. so swapping them around makes no difference only aesthetically.

theres also a picture of prime with the cannon which someone asked for.
