I thought it would be useful to keep a list of good and bad sellers on this first post.
This list is updated as needed. A good seller can go bad at any time. These lists will be updated as needed.

Hints:
-Be aware of prices too good to be true, even for Chinese Ebay sellers.
-Check their length of time as an Ebay seller.
-Check number of negative feedback within the last 30 days.
-If the seller isn't on any of the lists below, use the thread's search option to search for the seller's name and check for any feedback in this thread.
-If the seller isn't on any of the lists below and a thread search turns up nothing, post a question asking about the seller.
-If all else fails, stick to the sellers on the Good Sellers list and you'll be fine 9/10.
-It is HIGHLY recommended that pay for your EBay orders using Paypal.

If you've been scammed and you paid with Paypal:
Contact Paypal over the phone and speak with a live agent to file a refund claim. They'll get you taken care of quickly. Max wait time for claim resolution/refund will only be about 10 days or less. This is a faster process that Ebay doesn't really mention. It highly recommended that you file your refund claim with Paypal and not Ebay. Only notify Ebay after Paypal has refunded your money and you need Ebay to refund you your Flash sale coupon, Ebay bucks coupon, Ebay gift coupon that you used on the on the fraudulent transaction.

Good rating, product prices seem reasonable, mix of KO and real products, only red flag I see is his ratings are all listed as Private, which I've never seen before and not sure what that means. Normally you can see the product price next to reviews and for recent item sale reviews you can see the item name and the listing, which helps you verify that the reviews are from people who bought similar figures to the one you're considering.

 

I'd also like to hear from anyone who's dealt with them before. At first glance, feedback looks pretty solid, but if you dig a bit several red flags jump out. Seller started selling cheap beads, then switched to private auctions, and now has high dollar items at good prices in large quantities. My gut says that this seller is about to cash in a large payday and then shut down the account. I could be wrong, but I'd personally stay clear of this one.

 

Private Auctions. Check! Under 1000 Transactions. Check! Started selling magic pretty beads to boost his rating- then switched to expensive high end collectibles. Check!

500% Scam. 250% Troll. Enjoy having your money tied up for a month. Just buy from any of about a dozen other sellers.

 

I picked up FT-04 Scoria from him about a month ago, everything got to me quick and was perfect. It looked like the factory forgot to put the instructions in my Scoria, but it wasn't a big deal so I didn't bother mentioning it to him to see if he could send me some.

 

Not the same seller he's asking about. 29 positives? Seems highly suspect.

Mine wasn't quite that fast, but it was just 2 weeks from China to Alabama (feb 29- March 14) which is pretty quick compared to some others if ordered from China.

 

I was going to say private listings are suspect. But 2 people can vouch for him so far. That $140 shipped OS KO Grimlock is tempting.

 

I was quite surprised with how quick I got it,probaly a small percentage receiving that quick tho

 

If I cant see what they'rve been selling or how much they're accustomed to dealing with, that's plenty to send me to another seller. With quakeblast at $75, about normal, it's hardly worth the risk.

Edit- if others have tried him, seems safer.

 

When the listings suddenly go private it's time to look elsewhere. I've had four deals refunded in the last two weeks by eBay (didn't even wait on me to open a case) for previously reliable sellers who have all suddenly done that and either left or been bussed from eBay. This includes a guy I've bought from for over two years.

That's not to say this seller isn't legit but just be weary.

 

I ordered an Oversized Evasion Prime from this seller at the end of Feb.
Item was marked shipped but no tracking was provided. Still haven't received it yet and he has not replied to any of my messages.
Just opened a case with eBay.

Yeah shipped items with no tracking provided- that was the same BS that happened each time I was scammed- but the scammers kept their stores open and kept feeding me BS messages before going POOF with all the money they stole from other buyers.

So, this guy might be yet another scammer?

I'm interested in the Unite Warriors Defensor he's offering but I also was recently scammed by a guy named ltingjunj for the same product, he gave me a fake tracking number and suddenly disappeared from Ebay.

 

If I'm being from a China based seller, Bababobo^ all the way!!!! Or I'll see of Paul at SirToys can get what I want.

 

Another recommendation is smartlulup2010 .I bought my ko evasion op from her. Good contact and communication and she seems to be a very nice person. If I ever got the variants I'd probably buy them from her.
