Alt Megatron Skyline R34 GT-R Finished!

In case you missed it a few weeks ago here:WIP Thread, Megatron is now finished!

There are a few minor imperfections, some parts don't line up as perfectly as I'd like(ie the doors, but really, I'm ok with it), and somewhere along the lines, I got a little black smudge on the driver side rear that I didn't want to have to repaint the whole piece to achieve a good color match. Plus a little piece of the metal Nissan logo had broken off and got lost(Waaah!).

However, I'm totally, 120% pleased with it! The re-shell process(my first successful one) went totally smooth thanks to Prowls simple transformation, and he's pretty much as strong and sturdy as the original figure.

Colors are the official Skyline colors, the main being Tamiya's gloss aluminum. I did make one minor mod tho, the seats are supposed to only have a red stripe in the center, but I like the all red. Also the windows are tinted using Tamiya's Smoke spraypaint.

Those familiar with the Skyline will notice that Megatron does sit higher than the car should. That was a side effect of the reshell process, but I like it, makes the care look more aggresive.

Guess that's enough talk, on with the pics! There's about 20 of them.

You can see the mesh grill and nifty metal transfer GTR logo here

Stupid smudge!

Stupid Nissan logo!

Inside:

Underneath. Notice the underside of the engine...you'll see it again!

And Robot mode! That piece of engine is connected to the block that becomes the rear of the fusion cannon. The front of the cannon detaches and...um....gets set aside, or thrown in the passenger seat; couldn't find a good spot for it.

Looks good. Bot mode?
EDIT:
Nevermind. Wow, that looks great. Love the head sculpt. Is that from another figure or what?

I absolutely love the GT-R Skyline.

I would've been on cloud 9 if this was released officially.

Just one question though. Was there a way to make the wheels be somewhat closer to the body of the car? It seems a little too protruding.

Other than that, amazing work.

I've been waiting to see him finished, Meg's came out fantastic.

I would definitely buy this if he was for sale. Is he?
