08 Bumblebee - transformation problem

here's a reference pic:

basically, wondering if anyone has had this problem....

The windshield peice of plastic is hitting against the hood on the front part (circled in red) when attempting to TF into car mode. I've dremeled and trimmed down where they contact each other, but it still sticks up a bit and isn't fluch on the hood (sorta like in pic above)

is there a mis-aligned cog or is this just typical after much use?

I've never had this problem, and to be honest (no offense intended) I'm not quite sure what the picture is showing.

You might want to see the positioning of his arms, though. Depending on how bent the elbow is, you'll have varying amounts of "good fit" between the windshield and roof parts. There's more than one way to bend the elbows/shoulders and have it fit, but there's one specific angle that gets it just right.

Mine has that problem. It's been like that from day 1, so I'm going to assume it's a mold flaw. Now that it's been pointed out, I think I'll call Concept BB the weakest deluxe in the line, at least in my opinion.

Never seen that problem. Where does the windshield part hit? On the other part of the hood or the cylindrical part underneath the hood?
